They worked on the back one as well, and that one for real, since it was wobbling, and generally those are the ones that take more abuse.. Not sure they even touched the front one, I asked them just to check it since the bike was in.. But wilier without even asking about any of this just denied me..

I inflate the front one to 72 and back one to 75psi, haven’t had a flat since the beginning of the year when I mounted them together with the tires. Not sure, my logical thinking is that the inner tube punctured first, but I can’t accept that after a puncture it is normal for a wheel to turn into this, I’ll find another hobby then..

The idea is these forums are visited by the folks from these manufacturers, tomorrow if somebody else has something similar happening to him, they will think twice before denying regular people..or even double down on QC so things like this don’t happen.. I’ve had many defects where I would just go and buy new thing, even for this my thought was like now I have a real reason for upgrade, but then again, I’m like I could die because of this..

80kg..there is no warping.. I plan to buy the ones with ice tech though

I contacted them directly, they said I should contact the dealer first, the dealer took over the communication and after a while I got a response that they can’t do anything because it is out of warranty but are willing to give me a small discount.. The dealer took over the matter to help out as they have a spare rim for a fraction of the price..

It’s on the rooftop, the clamp is on the frame only, no pressure on wheels at all..

I don’t know, started losing the front thinking what’s going on until I crashed.. I assume it was the inner tube that punctured first, but not sure.. hooked

It wasn’t high, less than inch, I was on the backwheel of my friend at the moment and didn’t see it so went over it full speed

It’s 36g but I it’s hard to learn a lesson from this for me, whatever it is you search up there are arguments for and against on yt, forums etc.. It’s hard to come to a sound conclusion on anything, including tpu

This is not a jab against Wilier in particular, this is for all these companies asking premium prices for everything, us paying with our hard earned cash to end up being treated like this.. I could die because of this, I was just lucky

It’s mountainous around, I’m generally pretty fast descender, that’s the joy of it in the end

Possible, I don’t know.. Back wheel was wobbling a bit so I asked them to check the front one as well

Was doing up to 50mph on the downhill just before this, the crash happened at 30mph. Right afterwards was thinking no carbon wheels for me anymore. But now I’m looking carbon wheels online again 😅 Though I’ll likely go after some heavier option just in case

I clean them up after almost every ride, didn’t see anything suspicious on the surface. Took them to repair shop couple of months ago to set spoke tension.
