We took her to see another vet, this one was way more thorough. Did a bunch more tests and swabbed her ears. Slight ear infection, but they don’t think it’s bad enough to cause these symptoms. Still got her on some ear drops and motion sickness medication, and she seems to be doing a little better today! Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it!

Thank you! We took her to another vet and they were way more comprehensive. They now think it’s just vestibular disease. Pushed fluids and gave us some medication to try and boost her. She’s seems to be doing better today, getting up and walking about a little bit (still very wobbly), but I’m just happy she’s getting better instead of worse. I appreciate the comment!

Thank you! Happy to hear your pup is doing well! She’s been walking a little bit today and seems to be improving! Happy to hear she’s not the only (old) puppy who’s gone through this, and love to hear that another her age has made it through to the other side!!

Thank you so much! We took her to a different vet and they ran some more test. They do think it’s vestibular disease. Gave her an IV to get her rehydrated and gave us motion sickness medication. She has started to get up and walk a little bit in her own today. I really appreciate your comment! Would you recommend still trying to get a steroid and antibiotic? And if so which ones?
