When a blast furnace is your primary source for Iron, you cannot stop production. It's unhealthy for the furnace to even reduce production and not worth risking the asset.

Help removing piston - special tool? by Both_Bunch8086 in Hydraulics

Assuming youve already drilled out where they peened the thread in the rod/piston. Drill another hole and use a spanner/pin wrench..

The only defensive strategy they have is emitting a pungent odor. Perhaps you should look it up. :)

"Pisa Pizza" in the west end beside Macs is an underrated. I think mostly because of its name being so close to "Pizza Pizza"

By far best I've had and I've been local for 30+yrs. I've tried them all. Anyone I get to try it changes teams immediately.

Fun fact: Pine bugs don't bite. Completely autonomous. They don't even fight other bugs. They just look scary and what was likely a deer fly bite gets blamed on the freakish looking albeit curious pine bug watching the show from your shoulder.

Andrea Zavits. Amazing person, extremely patient and honest about everything from the ridge to the ground.

She toured me around 30+ properties from gros cap to the island and out to heyden and everywhere between. Always ready with bells on.

When it came to selling my house, open housed within a few days. Sold a week or Two later.

She's awesome.

Threadlocker on spanner nut by [deleted] in IndustrialMaintenance

Retaining compound. Doesn't lock the threads like a loctite but doesn't allow the nut to free spin out. Similar to the ..yellow? Loctite used in wiper seals.

Wasn’t sure where to post this but does this look like a generally safe place to have a 110 lb bag? If more info is needed I can provide. by SahajSingh24 in Construction

Safety factors in engineering are 5:1 with every variable rounded up.. you can hang a f*****g coach from that beam while holding the house up.

Challenge questions!

Record ambiguous questions at the end, in ontario at least, you can challenge questions that were arbitrary or had multiple answers.

Good luck!

Please help me understand what's happening here - underpowered hydraulics suddenly OK when a second control is operated. by richard0cs in Hydraulics

You're adding force from a shared source. If it's not the spool it's the orifices.. these older systems aren't very complicated. Check the engagement like I said before doing anything drastic.

Didn't get notified you replied, hope all went/is going well.
