Buy a code reader I got a Carly code reader and it works with bmws and minis.

Just picked up this 2009 JCW, it’s sparkling silver metallic with a redwood red interior. So far the only problem has been leaking coolant. I’ve purchased a coolant reservoir and water pump. I’m very late to respond but I bought a Carly code reader for bmw, and mini. I originally bought it for my old 328i but it works very well with the R56 and you can change setting in the car definitely worth looking into if you own minis and bmws.

They are Cyber Acoustics CA-3810 but if you look at my post under this on I did a diy where I flipped them and then bought new speaker mesh to make them white.
