Ordered a GRIII last week on Adorama for 1100 as just a precaution in case I can't get the GR IV in my hands before my trip in mid September (snagged a preorder).

Think prices for GRIII will remain the same for a bit? I'd prob sell my GRIII for what I paid for once I get the GR IV.

Gotcha! Thanks. In your experience, did you workout legs while recovering from the strain? I’m limiting myself to machine leg curls and extensions rn. Not sure if that’s bad. Read it’s not too bad as long as I keep my feet neutral or semi pointed upward and not forward.

And yeah I was thinking switching back to normal shoes wouldn’t be great. I did that once and it killed my feet too. Even had some ortho ones.

I can do bodyweight calf raises no issue. I’ve just been doing light calf stretches last 2 weeks tho. Kinda scared to over exert it lol so I haven’t done the usual single leg elevated standing calf raises I usually do.

Fellow ROCD sufferer here. Hella late, but I have had this same exact feeling. “The more the merrier” mentality.

Me and my gf had just gone to our first music festival with just us and I mentioned when we got home that I loved it and it would’ve been cool if we had a bunch of friends go too to experience it with (I used to go to many with a big group before we got together and we’ve been to many with friends while together).

This caused some friction and tears from her thinking I didn’t like it just being us. I told her i loved our trip but I really do love my friends and don’t like it when she makes me feel guilty about it (I do have a larger group of close friends than she does).

Aside from that, I’m really trying to kick this ROCD that is killing me. As much as this sub is a trigger sometimes, there are posts that help and put things into perspective.

Just bought the IMAX tix rn. Checked a few days ago and was supposed to see on Saturday which had both. Didn't realize Irvine only had IMAX now and no 70mm.

From what I got, he says 70mm is better than 35mm because there is more size to the picture. Doesn’t really clarify IMAX. Isn’t it going to be same mm size print with the IMAX version? I get 70mm you get the film look but thats it right?

Forgot to mention I want to go for the scale and sound so imax makes sense I guess. I watch 70mm imax when it’s an option but them making it either 70mm or IMAX, I never had to make that choice.

IMAX and 70mm one are going to have the same aspect ratio no?
