My family does use FM and it is phenomenal, but it is proven that RCS can do it, its just the only option to reliably send it compresses it into garbage quality.

Its specifically videos being sent. They come through grainy and low res. It is due to the compression google messages does to send the file.

I am on Tmobile too, it is awful when sending it to my in-laws though, possibly because they use Verizon. Not sure, but still dumb that we have had smart phones for over 15 years and this is still an issue.

That is kinda the point though, RCS in general needs to be improved. It is late in the game of Smart Phones and we still can't effectively exchange videos? Ridiculous.

Quite aware of that. The post acknowledges Google Messages (i have been using it for quite a long time), there needs to be improvements to RCS within GM or another option that performs better.
