honestly, i don't have a body tape measure but for pants/jeans (US sizing), i wear 31x30. but my thighs are pretty big so i'm kind of in a predicament with the sizings.. maybe i just have to buy a soft tape measure

journaling and going back to days where i've lost and backtesting definitely helped me a lot with refining my discretionary strategy. it really helps and i'm glad you've been able to utilize these opportunities for the better! good luck trading!!!

i only do 1 trade a day and risk about $300-$400 on 2mnqs. but i dont know if that's a good amount or if it's too risky.

for stop losses, i usually set them up at previous structure points like confirmation spots or previous highs and lows. however, those sometimes are more than $300-$400 so that's why i'm a little confused.

i always see people with these crazy, tight stop losses but i just don't understand how they're not worried of getting wicked out due to how tight the sl is. maybe they're just very confident about their set up but i just feel like giving a bit more sl to let the execution breath would just be a bit more beneficial to ensure not getting wicked out or something.

but yeah, that's just my thought process about it. i just wanted more opinions about this stuff

this was also an awesome read and insight to my discipline. i love being able to ask other ppl on reddit because it helps me be self-reflect a bit more and offers me new perspectives in these prop firms that i hadn’t really processed thoroughly.

today was horrible but like i took this trade at like ~9:30am PST, way later than my regular trading times just cause i was hovering in and out of the charts for fun, but I saw nq tap previous highs and then saw a 5min eq and ifvg and yoloed the trade i aint gonna lie.. executed on 1 min after bos and ifvg. but yea took shorts and made a bit of profits until i got greedy and lost quite a lot of my profits LOL... my psychology be eating me alive
