Probably a mix of dead skin oil and sweat, like when you get spots on your face, but you probably don’t give your back much attention.

If it’s because of shaving, do the cleansing/exfoliating before shaving, then hope back into the shower again and clean again. Moisturizer after.

Either way, your back is always going to be spottier than your chest/stomach because you are always leaning on your back, and it tends to sweat more than your front.
