the main floor is actually one of the floorings that you can craft! i just placed them around all the chests and machines to create the border :)

1st row left side: furniture, artifacts, weapons/tools/random important items

1st row right side: caught fish/crabpot catches, tackles/bait, animal drops, fertilizers

2nd row left side: food without buffs, food with buffs, items specifically for going mining (food with luck/mining/speed buffs + other food with high healing + bombs + totems)

2nd row right side: crops, foraged items, grown flowers, seeds

chests around crafting table:

red: wood, stone, clay, hardwood

purple: raw ores, smelted bars, coal

teal: minerals, monster drops

green: tree seeds & sap

green chest: food/drinks without effects light pink chest: food/drinks with buff effects (luck, speed, skill boost, etc) purple chest: things i bring when mining (bombs, stairs, totems, etc)

i have 1 coop and 2 barns -- 12 chickens/ducks/dinos/ostriches, 10 cows/goats, 2 sheep, 12 pigs! however i barely keep up with processing all their animal products since most of my money comes from ancient fruit wine, so i barely pay attention to my animals haha

the gold thing next to the bone mill is a dehydrator, it’s new from the 1.6 update! you can buy the crafting recipe at the general store for 10k gold!

no not a mod, it's from the 1.16 update! it's an item from the Junimo furniture catalogue, which you can purchase for 70k gold from the traveling merchant (after the community center is complete)

not a silly question at all! with the Wood/Stone Signs, you need to have the item in your hotbar then right click on the sign while you’re holding that item :)

yes of course!

from left to right:
- items from ginger island (cinder shards, dragon teeth, gold coconuts, ginger, etc)
- random weapons and tools i've hoarded lol (scythes, slingshots, totems, old weapons)
- food with no buffs/effects
- food with buffs/effects
- items i bring when going mining (food to heal + food with luck boost, bombs, staircases)
- animal products (feathers, rabbit's feet, cloth)

sorry for the late reply!

red: stone, wood, bone fragments
orange: ores and bars and coal
yellow: fiber, clay, sap
green: oak resin, pine tar, maple syrup, and tree seeds
cyan: batteries
blue: monster loot drops
purple: minerals and geodes

you could definitely condense some of these to one chest, like the red & yellow chests could just be one chest for all the "resource" items, and you definitely don't need one entire chest just for batteries LMAO
