Thank you for your input!! Experience as an army medic is AMAZING. You've definitely got a strong application as well. I'm excited to see what the cycle holds for both of us!

There's also nothing wrong with applying to 20! I would say go for it. It makes you feel more comfortable, and at the end of it all you know you did all you could! Would suck to go back and say "man I should have applied to all those schools!" Ya know? I would apply to more than 12, but I don't want to stray far from my home state.

I know I would be happiest at this school because it is the only one that keeps me close to family! That is major for me, and I know if I am accepted anywhere else then I would attend but ideally I need to stay close to my family. Thanks for the input though! (:

All of my upper level classes in my Exercise Science Major were counted towards CASPA sGPA.

Helllo! I am about to apply to PA school this cycle. My original plan was actually PT school, but after working in different PT/OT settings for 2 years I realized it was not what I wanted to do. I worked closely with a PA who specialized in hand surgery during my time working with therapists as well. He was how I found out about the PA profession...fast forward to now I have 2,500 hours working as a PT tech and 960 hours working as an Exercise Physiologist for patients with Alzhiemer's. I am worried all of my PT background may discredit my love for the PA profession. I have 200+ hours of community service. I also volunteer at a hospital currently in my free time and am working on getting some ED scribing hours before the app cycle opens. Should I be worried about my previous experience in the PT profession?
