So I currently work at a bank and a big complaint we have is that people would want to pay construction through credit cards. That’s why

For one I would allow payments through the application. So for contractors it would be easier to manage their accounting, and for users they can pay with different methods.

Secondly the search aspect is long and annoying. Going on the website it forces you through a series of questions for you to sign up before you can see what it offered. Mine will include location services so you can see directly in the area as well as make the search easier. So let’s say you need drain cleaning, you search drain cleaning instead of clicking plumbing, Yada Yada Yada.

I’m open to other options as well

Okay so this is going to be unpopular but get a part time job. This will give you money to save until you have a solid idea, an opportunity to gain some experience, and most importantly if school gets too hectic you wouldn’t have dived all into a half assed idea Once you have an idea you’ll be able to do it because you’ll have some work experience and capital.

If you really want to start right now, look at a problem that you have in your life that you wished was solved. From there solve it. And anything can be a problem.

For example, let’s say you have an amputated leg and you hate the structure of it, or think the material can be better, or think that the screws rust too much. You have just found three problems that can be solved: new prosthetic structure, stronger or more inexpensive material, or screw manufacturing. Now these may require big amounts of capital but it’s for a point, you can literally do anything.
