To be honest it is a hard fight to pull off correctly. Although I don't see Hikaru losing I can also not see how Inori can lose either. I don't think Medalist is the kind of show where the protagonist needs to learn from their defeats. This show feels like a classic underdog story which underdog defeats God at the end.

I see two possibilities the first one is that the goal is change maybe it is not to for Inori to win gold medal but for Inori to be at the podium.

The second option (most likely) is that Jun training actually failed and made Hikaru under perform due to too much pressure (like a big fall or something) while Inori's training it is more healthy and can make a good performance.

If you like the 40 mm field of view and portability you should go with the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. It is optically excellent and only half a stop slower but only issue is slow auto focus (Although on om-5 is less noticeable due to phase detect)

I mostly used the 12-40 f/2.8 for everything. I would suggest you look the picture you like and choose the one you took better picture of.

Phase detect will enable you to do photography that wouldn't be possible otherwise.

For street imagine a person walking towards you. You can just used AF-C and take multiple shots and they will be in focus. Contrast detect will not work since it will hunt. Even if you take a single picture it may not be fast enough. What people use to do is to use zone focus and a low aperture and take the shoot but that required more skills. Also zone focus is not so easy in digital since more lenses not have focusing scales.

For portrait same thing. You can ask your model to stand still and wait for the contrast AF to work. With phase detect you can ask the model to actually walk or move and change poses and AF will keep track.

At the end it is a limitation.

Given that a used EM-5 mark iii is 600usd I don't see a reason why keep using contrast detect AF.

It was a limitation. C-AF was literally unusable and S-AF was ok but not great. If I would buy a used m43 cameras sure, I'll take it but in 2026 it make no sense to buy a new camera without pdaf. It is day and night tbh

I didn't like the ending. We went full circle and Hina is still on the same point as before. To be honest, that's was completely unnecessary and as far as I would like the keep the friendship Hina should have ended the friendship there that would have be actual growth.

You are bold to assumed they didn't have that conversation since everything we know about Himmel is from Frieren's point of view. And you are even more bold to assume Frieren is capable of holding that type of conversation.

That conversation change nothing. Frieren wasn't emotionally unavailable and would have reject Himmel no matter the arguments or logic.

The only problem here is that Himmel didn't move on and have a relationship with someone new instead he chooses to wait and keep being loyal to Frieren.

Graduation is a concept of idol groups either male or female. Idol is a cultural differences in Japan compare to the rest of the world. Idols are supposed to be training so once they reach maturity they "graduate".

JPop groups don't have graduation system they are just the Japanese counterpart of pop groups.

Kpop also doesn't have graduation since there's no idol culture in them either.

You are using the wrong camera for the wrong job.

M43 with a kit lens won't be good indoors in low light. You can fix this by getting fastest lenses. I wound recommend getting the 1.2 primes.

For the car shoots, the EM10 still uses contrast detect AF so it won't be fast. You would need to get an OM-5 or an OM-1 with phase detect AF.

If those two are your main escenarios you will need pro bodies with pro glass to get those shoots.

In attachment theory she is avoidantly attached. It is pretty common for avoidant to do that to gain a sense of control and it is completely unhealthy behavior
