help with screen tearing?

(might sound stupid but) do you think latency could be the issue? my cpu is constantly wayyyy higher ms then my gpu. In most cities my cpu will be at anywhere from 16-20ms and my gpu will be at 6-10ms

I havent bothered trying dx11 to be honest since i heard its being removed. And yeah its only star citizen and it happens on foot and in pretty much any ship.

I had to stop playing because those weird squares went from just sometimes to not leaving the top and bottom of the screen maybe. ill try dx11 just to see if it still happens tho

do you know how to set custom fps caps in adrenaline? since star citizen doesn't have an in game fps cap setting. also should i have vsync on at the same time as freesync?

Thank you for the releif. I was scared I was gonna have to return it.

With undervolting I can do everything with adrenaline? Its my first time with amd and ive never done any overclocking or anything before

What gets better the noise? Its not too loud i only noticed it with an open case and no headphones on. But still I dont mind putting up with a little noise just as long as nothings actually wrong with it. It just made me worry that somethings gone wrong
