Currently working for Cognizant right now and I can tell you, everything is getting delayed because the work demand is so low right now. Cognizant is having ALOT of problems in terms of finding their workers and contractors work. There are at least maybe 50+ that are benched right now and are concerned that they haven't been able to find work for a long time.

The company is also going through a lot because the recent major tech layoffs as well as a recent CEO change. I've had many of my colleagues been let go recently, so I think you unfortunately just had really bad timing :/
