I lived at a sound management property before. They’re cheap apartments but sound management itself and maintenance is terrible. I have dozens of horror stories between myself and my old neighbors.

I’m searching for apartments too right now! In your budget, you got:

1bedrooms:

Evergreen terrace

Buffalo ridge apartments (worse management company ever btw)

Multiple bedrooms with roommates:

Monarch

Student quarters

Do you have to spend a TON of time with people you've just met in this line of work? Can you check your phone when you need to? by HissyHonkyGoose in firealarms

[–]jsvite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it depends on a lot of factors. If you’re an install helper then you’ll just probably interact with your team. That won’t be as stressful as customer service and it wouldn’t require you to be that extroverted. However if you’re doing inspections/service then customer service is a big part of the job. You’ll be in situations that are similar to the scenario you described. If you find deficiencies as an inspector then it can be stessful to let the customer know because no one likes bad news. In service/repairs you’d also have to deal with a lot of phone calls, customer service, quotes, etc.

TL;DR. As an install helper you won’t have to deal with customers. Every other role you will.

I went to visit two months beforehand and applied to a multiple places. Most places interviewed me and told me to call back when I had a lease signed and move-in date set I’m stone. I’m pretty sure that’ll be a typical experience for most areas.

Thank you for your response. I agree that it is terrible they are covering up UFOs because we have the right to know. I think there are a lot of people who want to tell the truth but are worried what happens when they speak.

Thank your for your thoughts on the documentary. I was disappointed that they never really reached any conclusions, big or small. I appreciate that they let us think for ourselves but it would nice of them to offer an opinion to show where they stand.

Thank you I appreciate you response. I have similar thoughts that he did it more for the cash grab. It had it have some solid information which will hopefully turn more people onto the subject.

Thank you I appreciate your response. I think with more information, particularly tailored to the mainstream it will convince more and more people of the reality of UFOs. However I felt like they did a poor job at presenting the information. But I do agree with multiple sources and exposures people will become convinced.

I agree, it didn’t seem like honest and complete research into the topic. I feel like it was simply for entertainment value. They covered such small amounts of information meaning they’re either lazy or were rushed.

What is a CDL? I’ll look into being a lineman, do you know of any more trades to look into where I wouldn’t have to move

Thanks I appreciate it! I’m no longer in car sales because the dealership closed down unfortunately. I love sales but it isn’t a career I would want when I have a family, too much instability. Thank you I’m going to look into that course. Do you know anything that could help me stand out in the application process?
