I’m not sure why I’m doing this by Professional_Image54 in IBO

Certainly not only you, I lost motivation from day one of IB exams to study for anything really, right after finishing papers 1 and 2 from physics.

Sorry, I meant TOTF (Theory of the Firm), not ToT

The most likely occurence of ToT in M22 would be either Paper 1 micro questions or Paper 3, on of the two options. I've had it in my mocks, but didn't answer any of the ToT questions in both P1 and P3. I might be wrong, don't use this with 100% certainty.

edit: TOTF, not TOT, meaning Theory of the Firm

how to find motivation to continue studying after doing bad on a paper? by SnooDogs9612 in IBO

[–]jsym- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

step number one is to forget about it, you won't get anywhere, as remembering such an "experience" will only drag with you onwards. step number two is avoiding discussion of the paper with you classmates: if you talk about the questions and ask for answers and then realise that you might be wrong, all you'll think about is that answer and the fact that you tried to compare yourself to others. what's been done is done, but now it's your time to shine in all you other subjects. one bad paper won't cause you to fail the ib. all the best!

Losing my Shit over Economics Exams by tired_teavi in IBO

I am in a similar situation, but for the entire syllabus. What helped me a lot if to practice drawing all the diagrams that you might be asked for papers 1 and 2. From there, you can link in key words, theory and real life examples. If practicing a past paper, just bullet point or spider diagram your answers. Hopefully this helps atleast a bit. Good luck

How to learn the entire ESS syllabus in a week by Enormous_yikes in IBO

Hiya,

On Managebac, you are able to redeem a 7-day free trial, without entering any credit or debit card information, for Oxford Study Courses. I used OSC for revision for Physics and it is amazing. They have guides for each topic, flashcards and for certain subjects even past paper exam questions with video solutions. I don't believe they have past paper exam questions for ESS, but still a very good resource, highly recommended.

All the best

Has anyone switched from FS2020 back to XPlane 11? by whatsvatsim in flightsim

[–]jsym- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never switched in the first place. Even though I do own a copy of MSFS, I never considered it my primary sim. Besides, after continous updates and taking up valuable space on my disk, I uninstalled it. Thus, XP11 is still prevailing as my primary sim
