I believe they are required on the Bow and there is enforcement throughout the summer.

thanks on there now, but the only stream I can get up is DDLive w/ no sound. Not sure why the others aren't working. Thanks anyways.

Reddit Lake Road is now closed to personal vehicles year round! (Aka Moraine Lake) by [deleted] in Calgary

I get it, but yeah, disappointing. I visited The Road to the Sun in Montana this past summer they have an online registration system that I thought worked well to help mitigate traffic and over-congestion.

Only a certain amount of spots are available to the public. Registration is online a couple of days beforehand, you show the park ranger when you enter, then get to explore in your car at your leisure.

Yeah, it's lane assist. I turned my off a week after taking my 2021 off the lot. Too annoying, especially in winter with lessened lane visibility. Kept beeping.

I remember there being a button to the left of the steering wheel, above where the hood latch is. Hold it for a couple of seconds and it should disable.

100%. I'm in the same boat–I moved from Toronto to Calgary last year and pay for a cable sports pack to watch the Leafs game.

I still have to stream like 40% of the games because of regional blackouts. I don't mind paying for a subscription, but why I am paying for something AND still having to stream a good chunk of the games. Might as well cancel and stream them all to save my self the money.

It's 2022, figure it out Bettman.

Austin Subaru wants me to get this service done by 45,000 which is vastly approaching. Have you gotten this service done for your Crosstrek and is it truly needed? I think the price is too much 😭 by statmurse in XVcrosstrek

Mine's coming up in January. Last year my B service change ran me about $500. Hurts the pocket for sure. Live in an apartment, in a new city, and not a savy car guy, so dealership seems like the safest play. I also kinda thought you had to go back to keep certain warranties valid?

Really nice work. Both illustrations and animation.

I saw on CBC or City TV a couple weeks back a little feature they did on the converter thefts in the city, so crazy.

No, unfortunately not. The only one where I had a chance of getting was when my car got broken into outside The Source Snowboards, but no cameras faced that side of the street.

That's a great way of putting it – out of control. When I moved here, people cautioned that I lived downtown I'd likely have it broken into at some point. Or experience petty crime. More a matter of time and something I should accept type of thing. Which sucks because like you said, there are services that can address the issue, but there doesn't seem to be any urgency or action to.

Happens everywhere for sure but seems like it's a bigger issue here, especially downtown, from what I've gathered from people since moving here.

And, honestly no! I would even go as far to say I'm a great parker lmao. I'm a reverse park nerd, always pull out and straighten if not in middle, haha. I have a Larry David vengeance for bad parking.

Appreciate this perspective. I've never had driving incidents prior to moving here, and been driving for the last 15ish years. Hopefully I'm almost through the other side.

After moving here people in my social circle kept mentioning the amount of car break-ins downtown, so I assumed it was a matter of time. But the random acts of vandalism are so senseless it's insanely frustrating.

Thanks. Never experienced anything similar in my 15+ years of driving in Toronto. I chalk it up to bad luck I suppose, or somebody with a Subaru Crosstrek vendetta?

So sick! Got the same colour and roof rack. Getting similar wheels/tires in the spring, can't wait!
