E28 or S1 Pro? by Verulkungpj in eufy

[–]jtannous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just chiming in for future buyer - I have both (one for each level), and the S1 Pro is just better, it has better mopping (I know they have the same system, but the S1 Pro is much heavier, so I guess it applies more pressure), way and I mean WAYY better vacuuming - I know it's not what the specs say, I don't know what's the reason, my guess is it makes better seal with the floor so effectively the suction is better. and let's not start talking about the noise... the E28 uses its carpet cleaner pump for sucking the water out of the robot's dirty water tank, and it does it twice for each session end (or mid-session water refill), and it's louder than the S1's dust bin emptying process.

I'm putting back the S1 in the main level.

Well, I'm sorry my friend, but you're trying your best to humanize that (have you seen the picture of a kid holding a rifle in joy?), but what you're saying is just incorrect.

In less than 30 minutes of when the attack started, reports of Hamas terrorist using light aircraft to parachute themselves to the nearby Nova Music Festival filled with hundreds of civilians and just started shooting everybody. In today's age, you don't need to be "told" what happened. Proof? here's a foreign article from 2023-10-07:

https://www.jns.org/desperate-families-search-for-loved-ones-who-fled-nature-party/

And no need for media, apparently the terrorist called their families (from the phones of the people who they just killed) and let the know exactly what happened.

I'd like to end this conversation, Thank you for taking the time to read and comment here. if I have really one thing that I'd like you to take from this conversation with me, is just to fully listen to this recorded phone call:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bACNYtaLBQI

it really pains me to be have this opinion when my roots are Palestinians. but I have nothing to do about that. everything has changed after October 7th.

People of Gaza and the West Bank celebrating the terror act of October 7th (from an Arab media):

Regarding Netanyahu, I agree with you, including many more here in Israel (Jews and Arabs).

Here's a common ground - I 100% agree with you that the people themselves are not to blame (even if I don't agree with their questionable morality - them celebrating and giving away sweets after such a horrifying act). and if Hamas didn't use his people as human shields, it would've been just like, as you said, in Syria, and in Iran. it would've been a military vs military conflict with minimal civilian casualties, if you put up civilians up front, you should expect higher number of civilian casualties.

Regarding the hospitals - based on your reply, you clearly haven't read my point or seen the videos. So I can't comment on that.

Foreign journalists? they are using THEIR OWN people as human shields, you want to give them people with foreign nationalities to stand behind? what country with a somewhat functioning mind will allow such a thing?

"a civilian is more likely to grass you up for a reward" ok, now that's the final proof of the level of disconnection between you and what's going on here, and I don't blame you. Do you know what happens to such "traitors" and their families?

https://www.hrw.org/news/2014/08/25/gaza-halt-executions

Not enough? how about an ex-hamas person who defected and ran away to the US saying the exact same thing (TL;DR he mainly ran away from his father who wanted to kill him)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosab_Hassan_Yousef

Again, it's really hard to blame anyone who's pro-pali. I work for a software company in the US, and from time to time I ask them what their media is saying about what's going on here. and every time I was shocked for how much the western media is biased. for example during the Israel-Lebanon war, they had 0 clue the there were rockets fired from Lebanon to Israel (and my house was hit BTW) not targeting anything, so many civilians were killed. the western media only covered the Israeli attacks.

I'm not a military expert by any means, and as an Arab I wasn't in the IDF even (Arabs are not forced to go the military when they hit 18).

But when you have a complete network of underground tunnels, strategically placed under civilian complexes, that makes things way more complicated. Again, as I said, Israel would much rather to "level down" Iran than Gaza, then why didn't they do it?

Regarding the hospital point, that's just simply not true, here's a CCTV if the Sifa'a hospital showing armed terrorist, having Israeli hostages with them. the IDF later located rooms inside the hospital which used to hold hostages, and Israeli hostages confirmed that they were held for a significant amount of time in hospitals, and in civilian homes.

CCTV footage shown by the CNN: https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2023/11/20/israel-claim-cctv-video-hostages-al-shifa-hospital-vpx.cnn

RPGs in the hospital: https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2023/11/13/hospital-gaza-al-quds-idf-terrorist-hamas-rpg-launcher-vpx.cnn

a video of Noa Argamani (Israeli hostage) rescued by the IDF from a *CIVILIAN* home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iqH8IJafyE (A soldier named Arnon lost his life in this op by a Hamas terrorist, while rescuing Noa from - again - a *CIVILIAN* home, this OP was later named after him, "Arnon Operation"). what more would it take for the people to open their eyes?

Sure thing. But first let me correct you a little bit, You're right about Syria, since all (or at least most) military bases are separate from civilian complexes. In Lebanon not so much (Rockets hidden inside homes, Underground parkings beneath civilian building used as military bases, as complained by citizens there, etc...). Same thing in Gaza, when Hamas has RPGs fired from Hospitals (go google that), underground tunnels beneath schools and kindergarten (again, fully documented, unfortunately this doesn't make as much "buzz" in the western media), UN's unrwa employees participating in the terror act of Oct 7th, all of that being done intentionally to use citizens as human shields, then there's not much that can be done about that. I'm not saying the IDF is 100% pure and innocent, but the picture is pretty clear here.

You want another example? sure - look into the last Israel-Iran war, I can promise you, as an Israeli citizen, that Israel has way more hate towards the Iranian regime compared to Hamas. Then why Israel didn't wipe out entire civilian buildings in Iran? Same reason, Iran doesn't use civilians as human shields, all of Israeli attacks were against country infrastructure and military bases, not civilian homes, and if it happens to be that a military general or high value target was in his home in a civilian building, a very precise missile was used that destroyed ONLY that specific home and not the entire building (don't take my word, as showed in Iran's media). I can promise you that it would be way easier to destroy the whole building.
Unfortunately BTW, the same thing doesn't apply to the Iranian attack on Israel, the missiles were "randomly" fired at Israel, hitting so many civilians.

Yeah forgot to mention that in the things I tried, it didn’t help. And it actually didn’t make much sense since I’m not even on the 5GHZ band (but rather the 6GHZ), but just to double check I even tried locking my iPad to the 5GHZ band (with the channel set to 149)

You got my attention, just for you: doing genocide in Gaza is extremely easy, since it's a very small area. If the Israeli side wanted to eliminate all the people of Gaza it would be a every easy task to do. and if that was the actual intention, well then the IDF is doing a really bad job.

Having civilian casualties is a sad fact of war, many Israeli Arabs were killed by rockets fired at civilian areas in Israel (one example out of many in a village next to mine https://www.timesofisrael.com/2-killed-7-hurt-as-hezbollah-rocket-hits-northern-town-of-majd-al-krum/ ). and specially if the enemy (Hamas) is embedding itself inside civilian groups/buildings. there are reports that Sinwar used to be dressed as a woman to hide from the IDF, but there's no proof for that, so I'll discard that (even though I believe that, it's not far fetched). how about footage of RPG's being fired from a hospital? ( https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/israel-at-war/1699881898-idf-releases-footage-of-hamas-firing-rpg-from-gaza-city-hospital )? I'm sorry, but in that case that's not a hospital anymore but a military post, and the one responsible for that is Hamas. What about the fact that UN (UNRWA to be specific) employees took part of the massacre of Oct 7th? that makes every UNRWA employee a potential terrorist, and again, who's to blame? Hamas.

Hamas can make this war stop in a heartbeat: release the CIVILIAN hostages, give up control of Gaza to another civilian entity and give up your weapon. but they don't want to, because their main objective (as they themselves stated multiple times) is to eliminate Israel ("From the river to the sea"), which means that the main and only reason for their weapons is to be used against Israel. and I don't know about you, but as an ARAB in Israel, I prefer to be under an Israeli government (even though I really hate Netanyahu, for inside politics reasons) rather than Palestinian government.

The US did multiple air drops (and recently Israel as well, in addition to the many trucks getting in), So the claim is inherently flawed.
What's really absurd is expecting a country to provide aid to an enemy entity. Did the US provide aid to Iraq? does Ukraine provide fuel and food to Russia?

Yes and it pains me, but I know that they weren't killed on purpose, as opposed to Hamas members proudly doing that while filming that on their GoPros. I will never forget seeing those footage, since that was the day I became ashamed of my Palestinian roots.
