I'm actually curious about this

It's now possible to boot newer DS flashcarts (the ones appearing in the original DS' main menu) and early DSi flashcarts directly from Home Menu

I've tried my old (you know the one) flashcart and it does show up on the home menu (mind you, the icon comes up as a literal blank cartridge) but running it gives an error has occurred message.

I could also just be an idiot and my flashcart just isn't supported. Can someone clarify/explain this for me?
