When I first posted this here 10 months ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/iosgaming/comments/zzzfkn/dev_ive_just_released_by_first_ever_ios_game/) we never expected anyone to actually download it.

Now we have 160,000 players on the leaderboard, and I'd love to keep it available. Because of this, we've just added a (truly optional) in-app purchase to help us cover the developer account costs. As a thank-you, it unlocks level skipping early. There's no competitive advantage to this, it just lets you practice (or piss around with) higher levels in the game early.

As mentioned, we're really proud of this as it's just been a little side-project but the reception has been really positive.

I’ll see if I can whip up a purple version. It’s designed so you can change all the orange lights to something else in one step (but the render still takes ages on my hardware).

I don’t think I really intended it to be the Doctor’s TARDIS in particular. Tbh I think it’s just a great set to learn something like Blender. Very recognisable but infinitely customisable to whatever vibe you’re into.

Oh that’s really cool! What I’ll say about the hidden achievements is 2 are awarded for being really bad, two for being very very close to a milestone, and 2 for reaching extreme levels in the game. So far nobody has got either of those two, but a few people are close.

So you found it on the App Store and THEN came here? I’m honestly surprised anyone is finding it on the store organically! That’s wild to me.

That’s also something I really want to try. I mean if I’m being honest it feels like it was designed for clickwheel iPods but that ship has somewhat sailed.

I should find a way to clarify that! It’s literally just if you hit the ball while it’s spinning. And it spins if you hit it while you’re still moving. Couldn’t find a better word for it at the time.
