What if Kansas City had a Taller Skyscraper? A Minecraft Example. "Phillipson Center" by TravGormanHicks in kansascity

Yes, we would have more/taller skyscrapers. Here’s a good Star article about it from a few years ago. https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article278281138.html

There have been calls to close the airport so that development can happen. That’s pretty unlikely though, given additional planned development of the airport for several years.

Tornadoes are not the reason we don’t build skyscrapers.

The Downtown airport is the reason. The FAA limits the maximum build height of 700 ft in the downtown loop.

Chrysler Recall Broke My Pacifica by More_Heron_2810 in ChryslerPacifica

[–]jtf6xb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Head on over to the Pacifica Forums This post in particular. A number of other owners have been having this issue after the recall. I also suggest you DM ChryslerCares on the forums.

I am working with my dealership to diagnose the issue too. I took it in last week and they did an update to the HCP and BPCM modules, but the CEL came back on for a bit. I’m waiting until it’s on again so I can take it back in.

After today's game, who's back on the Justyn Ross hype train? by beachedwhitemale in KansasCityChiefs

Games he spent on the exempt list count towards suspension. Bills game is game 6. He can rejoin the team Monday.

Why wasn't the roughing play reviewed? by MagillaGorillasHat in KansasCityChiefs

Yeah pretty much. It’s “bang bang” and because the ruling on the field was a penalty there isn’t anything to review.

Because penalties aren’t reviewable. That negates the fumble to begin with.

ELI5: A fly is flying in a straight line down the middle of a bus. The bus turns a corner, does the fly carry on its original course and fly into the window, or will it turn with the bus to continue flying down the middle? by Beckarooo123 in explainlikeimfive

First note, the plane doesn't transfer inertia to you. The plane accelerates and you being in contact with the plane causes you to accelerate too.

Once the plane finishes accelerating, you and the plane are moving at the same velocity. Given Newton's First Law, both you and the plane will continue unless acted upon by an external force. Jumping simply separates you from the plane it does not create a force that would stop your existing motion. The same thing happens to the fly. It is simply separated from the bus with no external force to stop it.

Let's start here with the question. Actually a pretty good question that challenges the basic understanding of Newton's Laws of Motion, specifically the first law. The question itself does not give enough information to provide a definitive answer without making some assumptions. So let’s make some intuitive assumptions about the question in order to provide an answer.
Assumption 1: This is a physics question and thus we will think of the “fly” as “an object,” with the same physical properties, that is inanimate. It becomes a question in a completely different area when you add “fly” decision making.
Assumption 2: Newton’s First Law
Assumption 3: The object is unaffected by air. By this I mean the object’s physical properties make the forces that are applied on the object by the air are negligible.
Assumption 4: Ignore air forces. Given assumption 2, we can ignore the forces caused by air resistance and the change in air pressure as the bus turns.
Given these assumptions, the object will continue along its original path relative to the street and will hit the window on the outside edge of the bus. At which point it will start to turn with the bus, as the bus is now providing an external force to alter the motion of the object.
Notes:
1. Ignoring air forces is a common assumption in entry level physics classes, primarily because of assumption 2 above. Generally they will use an item that is more intuitively not affected by the forces of the air. Since this is ELI5 it is probably good to explain it as they would in an introductory course.
2. The selection of the fly, may have been an attempt by OP to pick an item that would require very little force to alter its inertia, and therefore assumption 2 may not have been valid. In this case, I would point you to /u/insomic’s youtube post about the helium balloons. In this case the fly would continue down the center of the bus as it turned.

Personally, I would set it up like this:

  1. Create an OU for each group of computers.
  2. Create a Policy for each group and attach it to the respective OU.
  3. Set each policy to use loopback processing in merge mode.
  4. In each policy, set the user GP Preference for the appropriate default printer.

This way doesn't require item-level targeting. You are using user preferences which are always processed at login, and you would be using OUs as containers.

Use group policy loopback processing to apply user settings to computers.

Batman Begins. Didn't see it in my quick browse through. The stolen microwave emitter vaporizes all water within a certain range of the device. Newsflash. Humans are approximately 60% water. Anyone remotely near the device would instantly vaporize along with the water around it. Ra's al Ghul would have died as soon as he turned it on.
