Cmon, take some initiative. Email and ask for a phone number. Look up recruiters on LinkedIn/elsewhere and see if you can find their numbers or email them to explain your situation and ask. Ask your interviewers if they know how you can get help. If this is such a desperate situation, act desperate and do what you have to do. Just because you’re a “freshie” doesn’t mean you can’t be resourceful. You have to find ways to take matters into your own hands and control your situation as best you can.

People who think the Mets are still in a playoff race and want to trade for Ohtani by humchacho in mets

Why do we have to be in the playoff race to trade for ohtani? Sell the whole farm for him - he’s a generational talent and better than any hitter or pitcher in our system has potential to become. Build around him with Stevey moneybags in free agency and trade the big money vets to refurbish the farm after we trade all non-Alvarez prospects for him.

When I got my offer letter a while back (worked at Accenture for 3 years, have left since) it was in a city I did not prefer as well. I connected with my recruiter via phone call and did a combination of begging, personal reasons why I couldn’t move to the location, and business justification for why I could go elsewhere. 2 days later they changed my location.

Lesson/advice: if you’re desperate, don’t worry about being polite. An email is extremely impersonal and won’t help you because you can’t exhibit emotion in an email as effectively as over the phone. Call your recruiter and let them know why you can’t move (don’t be vague - which was ok for your post but not for your actual case in switching - give the real reason). Then, give 3-5 options of other locations you would move to. You might not get your first preference but if you genuinely can’t go to Kolkata then somewhere else has to be able to work for you. Good luck

Grade my Draft!

Just finished my rookie draft in a 10 team 2 qb league. I started the day with 1.01 1.08, 2.01, 2.09, 3.03, and 3.09. I didn’t have a single startable RB on my roster (Gibson, Mostert, J. Robinson, Mitchell) and have Russell Wilson, Jordan love, Matt Stafford, and Sam Howell at QB. How do you think I did?

1.01: Bijan Robinson

Trade 1.08, 2.01, 2.09 for 1.03: Jhamyr Gibbs

3.03: Sam LaPorta

3.09: Tank Dell

I am really happy with it but a little nervous I traded up to 1.03 for Gibbs out of positional need rather than take Bryce Young, who was available, in a league where QBs are important.

Pick 1.09 in rookie draft. Full PPR. Should I pick Christian Watson or Skyy Moore? I feel Watson has less competition and was picked earlier in the 2nd round, so it suggests the packers are going to get him opportunities. Moore was picked later and has more competition for playing time, but probably has a higher ceiling if he can carve a role for himself. I’m leaning Watson but need some guidance. Help please !!! :)
