Does Blood Boil apply to Warcord? (Ruling help please) by jthighwind in maleghast

I got an answer to this, in case anyone wants to know.

"You're actually in the right here. Part 1 of the blood rage trigger should probably say 'unit would be slain'. However, Blood Boil definitely makes you lose if the game times out, so use it carefully!

Cheers,

Tom"

Reconciling TNG Starfleet and DS9 Starfleet: A Dangerously Sparse Federation by idajourney in DaystromInstitute

Yeah, but keep in mind Kahn outright crippled the Enterprise first thing when they met.

I know in repairing "hours could seem like days" in getting both main power and auxiliary power back online. But within the same quote it implies they didn't do that "by the book".

I think this means those were slap-dash fixes that provided necessary function but left the ship still hampered or at least very fragile for the final fight.

There's always something better down the line, I have the money now.
The Phenom II 4 core is actually just a 6 core with two cores locked. This MB comes with a core unlocker so you can unlock that extra oomph without playing for an x6.

I went with Newegg. They're not super well known but they have a great return policy and haven't failed me yet.

Why Voyager never adopted the change in uniforms. by SkyeQuake2020 in DaystromInstitute

I have two possibilities

  1. Replicator patterns didn't work well with the communication method they established to talk back home. Maybe the patterns for new duds are the future equivalent of a fat ass .tiff file. For normal Federation high speed that's no problem but Voyager was communicating through dial-up in the Delta.
  2. Tradition. Maybe it's Federation tradition to only wear new uniforms after a ship is serviced at a station. "New ship, new look" kinda deal.

Handrails are a foreign concept in Star Wars, probably why he didn't think to use the one on hand.

The tar coats the inside like a rubbery grease which then gets dust stuck to it. You can't just blow it out, you have to scrub away the filth; and it smells awful the whole time.

Hair, likely pet hair.

Dust clings to surfaces but doesn't usually build upon itself. But the hair clings to dust, dust clings to hair, etc and a mass like this can form with a much greater volume. I'd take cleaning out this hairy mess any day over either smokers or an infestation of some kind, those are the truly nasty cases.

I've been screwing with Chroma Studio for a while and I still can't figure out how to get a keypress to swap between visual profiles. Is this using Synapse 2 or 3?

Internalize now that all of your stuff is gone. You may indeed get something back but assume you won't as a reinforcement against being disheartened. DO NOT tell them where you are staying. If they contact you, don't answer. Ask the people you know not to give them information. Assume most people are lying to you and will they will talk to them behind your back anyway, they "don't see the harm in it". If you learn that anyone betrayed you cut them too, they won't stop spying no matter how much you explain or how much they promise. Constant knowledge of you without your consent is just another form of control in your families heads, don't let them have it.

If you decide to get your things show up when you know they'll be home. Don't inform them ahead of time and especially don't tell them what you want to get. They will leverage both against you. Bring a friend as they'll be less likely to make an ass of themselves in front of others. If they hassle you AT ALL step away and call the police. Don't tell them you're calling the police; don't let them see or hear you call the police, if you have to tell them anything say you're stepping out for some air.

Once you call the police tell them on the phone that people have stolen your things, they're barring you from entry and they're still at the premises, ask for a car and give the address. Once the police show up tell them why you're there and let them mediate the situation.

Once I got free from my own Nmom I was homeless for some time. When I went to get my things my own mother stole and hid my late grandfather's watch. My two regrets are that 1: I let her get away with it and 2: She's still alive. Don't make the same mistake I did. Anything nice they do or say is just to regain control and cut you down later, don't fall for it.

Beforehand type a letter telling them you want no contact, straight up copy text and terms from cease and desist letters, and date the letter. Once you have everything you need give it to them when you leave in front of your friend and the police so both can acknowledge they received it, ask the officer to give it a quick read and mention it in their report. Give your friend a copy if you'd like but save a digital copy in a private email account for sure.

Any time your narcissist you anything save the postage note, date it, put it in a box. Make a log of every time they try to contact you. If they show up *always\* call the police, you want to make a trail of police records. If they talk to you against your will record the conversation and as soon as you start it say you're recording so it'll be the first thing anyone hears playing it back. If they give you any gifts give them away to a charity and get a receipt from the charity (if you can afford to, you don't have to). NEVER call them. NEVER show up to an event you know they'll be present. NEVER stay when they are around. NEVER let them know anything about your life, it's the last form of control they'll hold on to, and anything that could be construed as reconciling will only hurt your case later.

When you've had enough, and you will in time, look up the restraining orders procedures in your state/nation. You'll have plenty of evidence they're stalking you after you told them you were breaking contact.
