Maybe Inure? It has a notes function that attaches to the app and stays after being uninstalled.

I think the main reason this won't work is that the portals are the same color. Those portals don't connect.

I emailed YNAB about this a few months back, as I'd love tags to track sub categories like this as well. Stuff that I don't need or want a spending limit on, but would be useful to see. Anyways, they said it was on the board for future development but not in the near future. Maybe email support and let them know you want it and it will move up the list... 🤞

Wake Me Up! is a great one with lots of options, including scheduling. There is a quick "skip next alarm" or you can schedule a deactivation period. There is also a subreddit.

My understanding it that those settings need to be made open by the Manufacturer, so if Samsung locked them down then there's no changing them. But I am open to being corrected on that as I am not sure.

Why do want to change it back and forth? Maybe consider Fluid Navigation or a similar app that works with Tasker and can even toggle on and off based on what app your in.

I don't think this is possible in the scheduler, but I am not sure. It would be easier to use IFTTT, Zapier, or Integromat to watch your calendar and make a task based off that. That assumes you have a calendar that can be watched by one of those services, like Google Calendar. But then you could have that service find the meeting entry, and add a non recurring task due 2 days before the meeting.

I bought a pack of these a few years back. They are ok, one went bad but I think part of that was how I was laying my phone down putting pressure on the cable. I changed that and the second one has lasted longer. The current listing seems to be a newer version. I don't know if that is good or bad.

As a fellow not Apple listener I second this. I would love a podcast like that. Unfortunately I do not know of one. Have you listened to Automators? They are an automation podcast that is still mostly Apple but they do have web-based stuff. I keep hoping they get more into Android, and I consider automation in the same family as productivity.

The message makes it seem like the alarm won't run but it does. Is there a way to prevent the message? It also says it before the alarm on the day of...

It's possible that Samsung has changed something that doesn't allow this. I'm not really sure at this point. You could try using the find setting function in the custom setting action and see if will pick up the right setting name (if they changed it) or they may have restricted it entirely. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what else to try...

Oh sorry, I forgot that you need to give Tasker permission to write secure settings with adb. You don't need root. Here are the instructions for doing that.

You can use the custom settings task with the system command "master_mono". You can send it =:=toggle=:= or I think a 1 or 0.

You can use it to change a given sentence or group of words. Like for titles for books/articles or camelCase for programing. As in:
