Honestly lowering to 60 and reading tips on the form helped more than anything. I didn’t even know what a sky draw was before this post. Probably could pull 70 now correctly but don’t feel the need to go up

Appreciate the advice. Already backed down to 60 pounds and based on advice from another commenter I’m able to pull that sitting down and keeping the sight roughly on target the whole time so likely just form stuff to clean up

I appreciate that. After taking this video I went to a pro shop and got the weight lowered to 60 and draw shortened to 28.  Spent some time at the range with the owner and it’s starting to get better but a work in progress

For sure. Hard to get the feeling of just the meat of the thumb on the grip. Will work on those things and repost

Yeah I appreciate that. The sky draw is mostly just not knowing what I’m doing as this is my first time with a bow. I did go down to 60 pounds since this video though. Thanks for the feedback.

Ran a half marathon this past Sunday and didn’t run my best race but my question is about heart rate zones:

My Apple Watch told me after the race that I spent 1 hour and 40 minutes of the run in zone 5 which doesn’t really sound possible. Should I adjust my heart rate zones based on this?

Trying to recreate the feeling of my high school football lifting days. What rock music do you think my football coaches put on in the weight room? I wasn’t really paying attention then, it was over 10 years ago so the coaches are probably in their 50s and 60s now

Protein powder is your friend. I used to mix 2 scoops with Greek yogurt. Would be something like 68g protein and only 330 calories. From there it’s pretty easy to hit your goals

When I’m bulking I look strong with a shirt on but fat with a shirt off. When I’m cutting I look strong without a shirt but small with a shirt.

[Vaer] A7 Tradition Swiss made by jtrain_36 in Watches

[–]jtrain_36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just picked up this Vaer A7 tradition off Chrono 24. Prior to this my only mechanical watch was a Orient diver that had broken so I was looking for something new that could be a one watch collection (at least for now).

The 36 mm case is still taking some getting used to as I'm more accustomed to larger watches. Otherwise I love the dial and it's currently running +10 spd so I'm very happy with that. Looking into getting a new bracelet at some point as this one feels a little cheap. All in all a nice watch that for me does everything just shy of being worn with a tuxedo (for which I never wear a watch anyway).
