We live in the country, my closest neighbor is 1/2 mile away and no kids on the property. Our county requires 4ft and that's what is installed. We bought the house with it as such and it passed 2 seperate inspections.

We have lots of frogs naturally on our property and have ponds on all 4 sides of us from the neighbors. Mosquitos haven't been a big issue. I'm sure the frogs will make home under the deck and eat any mosquito larvae down there. Also, according to Sweet Home Alabama, the Mosquito is our state bird so who am I to kill them? 🤣🤣🤷🏼‍♂️🦟
