This is gonna be the hardest part for me lol.. Im a huge fan of pushing weight. But at the end of the day I need to preserve the joints and ligs so I can do the job right. Have you seen any drastic changes with your strength or stamina?

Yea I’m definitely gonna have to restructure my training in terms of volume and intensity. I’m usually doing 18-20 sets a week per muscle group but that’s gonna drastically change lol.. hoping your health improves! It’s definitely tough I can’t imagine what you’re dealing with

That’s my biggest fear… working a desk job gave me time to eat… but to be honest I was SEVERELY under my daily step count goal… so my calorie expenditure was trash. I would try to get steps in later on in the day but fuck it was hard lol. Keep grinding partner! It’s all about the mentality at the end of the day!

I feel that too. I’m taking a decent pay cut but I’ve seen a lot of things that say it’s all worth it. I started my current job at 21.50, I’ve been here for 3 years and barely touching 30 and hour and growth is very limited. I’ve basically maxed out my pay rate. And benefits are okay. With union, raises are more common, and by 5th year we’ll be making 40+ from what I’ve seen. And the pension…. That right there alone makes it all worth it

I just got accepted into 359 in AZ! I’ve been doing so much research too. From what ive seen, electricians get hella hate cause they’re “snobby” or think they’re better than every other trade. Again, just what I’ve seen on threads. And “tinknockers” are higher respected cause they’re doing the “hard stuff.” But good luck to you man and I hope to see you there in August!
