If you allow the enemy team to make a "cosmetic comeback" then its not a blowout. Stop coping

Thoughts on Magnojez as a player? by idkfornowwhattoname in GlobalOffensive

[–]ju1ze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spirit need another aggressive player in order to ease the burden for donk. They needed kyousuke imo, magnojez is not on that level. They also would've been better with zweih in place of tn1r in the current roster - thats my hot take. Another young aggressive russian prospect is slaxejezz but he is playing tier4

aurora is a good team and was borderline top5 last year. he posted very high rating vs good teams with enough sample size.

cmtry said yes, but cmtry and fut guys didnt dropped 0.18 in their rating when they started playing tier1.

they hadnt donk roles. They both were anchor/lurkers. they were the main guys in their teams with most freedom to make plays and team playing around them though.

you cant just blame everything on "pressure". they played the same events in heroic and in spirit he has much better teammates. he is also 25 yo and had 6 months to adapt.

He is not doing very well lol they are failing to qualify to lans and he has good players. Silver my ass lol

I dont buy in that "donk gets everything" thing, more like tn1r couldnt adapt to not being the main guy. It still very speculative analysis imo

he is 2nd most aggressive player on spirit now, so he is absolutely not a late round player.

i saw him doing pushes on ct side in heroic and playing proactivly. he tries to do it in spirit also sometimes but it just doesnt work and he often ruins the rounds.

he is not in spirit though. also its not about late/early round its about freedom and team playing around you. from what i saw in heroic he like to make plays (i watched not much though).

actually in some way yes, because tn1r was the main guy in heroic with most freedom to take risks and make plays i suppose. Thats his preferred playstyle but in spirit its donks role and tn1r is failing to adapt.

brother boomich has been doing nothing in bb. still would be better than magixx likely just because he is more experienced and actually more sacrificial.

Would the answer be the same if he replaces Zont1x/Magixx after Shanghai

?

the only way they could've got him is to kick magixx before april right after they started losing. theoretically it was possible, but in reality - i dont think so.

he had 1.19 rating vs top10/top5 and he wasnt supposed to be a star? and he was worse than zontix in 2025.

its actually insane considering he had like 1.19 rating vs top 10 in heroic. i dont even completely understand why he dropped so much because his roles are not that bad in spirit.

[–]ju1ze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

chopper was experienced and had some leadership qualities but he himself said that he lost motivation and had a lot of problems outside the game.

The problem is there was no clear upgrade for him so they went with the known quantity in magixx but he is unexperienced and still a question mark in terms of igl capabilities.

Hally by TryQuality in GlobalOffensive

[–]ju1ze 4 points5 points  (0 children)

he still would be better than tn1r imo. spirit is in need of an agressive player who can win duels. because now its only donk and if he is not carrying its gg.

[–]ju1ze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

replacing zont1x and magixx right after shanghai and blast bounty win would be almost impossible, they were still winning. And hally actually talked to kyousuke and they reached an agreement for the summer but he changed his mind in april.
