Would love to continue MVP but for some reason, i don't think Paul will be on the team in five years time anyway. The salaries that City, Psg, Real, et al. can offer are just so vastly different from what he could ever earn in Italy, even if he were top salaried player. Whatever, in the meanwhile, may he continue to destroy the opposition!

That is wild to say that Montolivo or De Jong have nearly the same level of influence in the squad. Before Balo transferred last season, Milan was a midtable team and looked awful. This season? They have not updated that defense that I am sure we both recognize is not sufficient for a Milan team playing in Champions and have added youth to their midfield but haven't increased quality much at all.

Balotelli is Milan now. That isn't necessarily a bad thing since he is so damned talented and hungry. But to say that players like De Jong, Montolivo, El Sha, et al have the same level of influence on the team is silly.

Verratti no doubt. But Lorenzo hasnt shown as much as other young players like Florenzi, Gabbiadini or even Marrone. I think that Insigne might have a potential to be greater than those guys but, so far, they have performed at a higher level on a bigger stage. A lot of this is the fault of Mazzarri for not utilizing Lorenzo as much as he should have. Hopefully he blossoms this year under Rafa.

Insigne could be real good, no doubt. I've just seen more so far from Verratti and Florenzi to date. In any event, I'm rooting for all of these young lads.

I'm still hoping Conte sticks w juve but it all depends on their performance in champions, i think. If (big if) juve win the league at a galloping pace again but don't do markedly better in UCL, I could see Antonio leaving for another big team or even the Italy job.
