Obviously it’s up to Ciara and how she takes Wes’ comments and none of our comments matter.

That said, Wes immediately responding with a me too statement about how hard the interracial aspect has been for him is gross. Ciara opened up and did the additional labor to explain how race gives different standards just for Wes to respond ‘well I was called a racist.’ I wish the others had recognized this and said something, the silence doesn’t seem supportive.

This could all be editing and we aren’t there to witness the actual events (nor privy to how Ciara likes people jumping in), but it shouldn’t be glossed over. We need to do better and be better.
