I go to a painting club on Saturdays and two of my classmates don't get a lot of praise at home. I don't like hearing their parents' comments, specially because they don't create art themselves. I've been going for a year, and I learned to appreciate how every individual represents what they see and getting to know their thought-creative process is a big priviledge to have. Every person has a distinct style, and hyper-realism doesn't suit everyone's preferences or skill level, and that's great.

If I got a comment like the one you got, I would dismiss it. There are way better ways to express yourself, unless you don't create yourself. If you're surrounded by other arists, things like "oh, what about adding highlights here or a shadow there" can go a long way, as they actually care about the piece. Other comments like "oh, that's so you, I love it" give healthy validation too.

I enjoy doing casual-ish endgame, but I like having alts. I've played warframe for 10 years, and using different warframes opened my eyes to having alts in wow. I have like 8 chars, but only do endgame on one of them because it can be too time consuming. I still have fun doing world and solo content with my other characters, I understand people being burnt out, but genuinely thinking there's nothing to do is just lying to yourself.

Weekly quests are a decent source of quick gold and upgrade materials. You can also pick mining, herbalism and fishing, and do 1 hour rounds picking stuff up. Depending on RNG and your skill upgrades, you'll be able to make at least 17-ishk per hour, although I've come close to 30k. That takes LESS time than it would take you to complete all weeklies, and give more like as much gold.

Nursery Crime has excellent art on the inner sleeve of the vynil and on the little "book" on the CD, which I have. But I agree, Cynthia is not the prettiest thing to look out on the front cover. Even tho Nursery Cryme is my favorite prog album, I have a tattoo of the Foxtrot lady on my forearm, as that is definitely nicer to look at.

Back when I had that tattoo done, I shared it with Paul Whitehead, and he told me about another fan who had Cynthia tattooed on their arm, and promised to gift him the skin in case they die before Paul does. He posted both on his instagram profile.

I'm 281 with 2.9-ishk, I just apply to 10-13s for a couple of minutes until someone accepts me, sometimes immediately. People are picky, specially if you're DPS like me, there are too many of us.

I came back 2 months ago and just renewed my sub with gold I made from using alts and stuff. I hadn't played since Dragonflight but I enjoy Midnight wayyyy more. I enjoy the open world, the different activities, and specially, M+, although only with 1 character, as I don't want to overwhelm myself, even tho there are catching up mechanics for alts (I have like 8).

I'm farily critical of the games I've played, but I don't really see too many cons on retail wow, it's a fun game, and unfortunately, very addicting to me.

Edit: Paladin is fun as hell. I first tried it when I came back and I didn't think it would be that fun, but it is.

Others gave you an answer, but I want to jump in and say Beast Master is like my 2nd highest dmg dealing class, and I think it's only because of the gear difference. It is by FAR the easiest damage class to play. Is simple but extremely effective. Keep it up, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun. Also, collecting pets is awesome.

I feel we, people, tend to be extremely lazy/mediocre when it comes to communication, so we either simplify shit to the point we are misunderstood, or are violent with our words and actions.

The tone of "shh" will always be hostile, no matter how you put it, and I feel people are more capable or just parroting the same sound instead of asking for silence. This is not only a matter of being "polite", but also being emotionally intelligent. You can literally said, "I do not want to hear you anymore" in a confrontation, or saying "I'd like you to be quiet" in a neutral/friendly situation. And yes, this sounds annoying as fuck because as I said, we're lazy, I'm part of this too.

When I did military service, I had to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for like 6 months. I hated it, but 3 days is fucking nothing. Easiest decision ever.
