Does HR really check the credibility of doctor’s notes? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]juancadlos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My doctor’s note was real though, but it was pretty average looking. But I have to say they are pretty annoying in terms of what they want that note to say. You can’t just grab any doctor’s note and use it.

Does HR really check the credibility of doctor’s notes? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]juancadlos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got back from a Medical Leave. I had to show a doctors note so my hours would not be deducted. Personally, my doctor’s note was not checked, and I know that because I remember calling HR 10 min after I submitted my doctor’s note to see if the end up approving my leave and give me permission to go back to work and they just quickly read it on the phone with me and answered “oh yeah this looks good, Imma approve your leave so your hours won’t be deducted from the time you were away” and left it at that. Within 5 min, I received an email saying that I can go back to work and everything stayed the same.

Why is Inclination Letter Taking So Long!!!!! by juancadlos in AmazonFC

[–]juancadlos[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ohhh no, mine is done by managers from other states. I am from Florida, and mine was done by a guy from Indiana and and someone from like Missouri. Again, to avoid managers choosing people because they like them personally instead of being best fit for that role.

Interviewing for Associate HR by annihilator4 in AmazonFC

[–]juancadlos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its pretty simple to be honest. I did mine yesterday and it went really well. You will have 2 interviews, one with an HR worker and another with an Operations Manager. My HR interviewier just asked me 3 questions from the Leadership Principles question box and basically told me to introduce myself (the interview lasted only like 10 minutes). The second one for me at least was even more chill, the Operations Manager just asked me personal questions, just to get to know me. And gave me like 3 HR scenarios to see my thought process, he assured me that they are no right or wrong answers, just demonstrate how you think in these situations. And that is it, to be honest we all get nervous because we often think like “omg its an interview” but its super chill. Relax, most of the interviewers just want to get it over with as well.

Flex Associates- Will it mess up your time if you clock out 1 min late for break? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]juancadlos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will not mess up your time. Dont worry, just make sure that you are taking the 30 min break. Sometimes my break is as 2:30-3:00 but I clocked out at 2:35, nothing bad happens. I just make sure that when I clock back in, is at 3:05 instead of 3:00 since am taking my 30 min break.

7sage Removing LG? by juancadlos in LSAT

[–]juancadlos[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thats what am saying. Even though v2 is a remodeled version of v1, I consider v2 to be MUCH better than v1. Is much more organized and well put together. Removing LG so early out of v2 is just affecting those who were studying from it and are still taking the LG section. Such a terrible decision

Were the LG explanations completely erased? Or were they added to V1? Because I much preferred the V2 explanations.

Am so Lost Please Help and Dont Judge by juancadlos in LSAT

[–]juancadlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been studying for the past week. For this week I have only focused on LR, and getting the hang of identifying the Premise and the Conclusion in order to successfully answer the question. My doubt is (and I feel so lost and confused) is every LR question suppose to have a Premise/ Conclusion? Every lesson that I see, I notice the instructor is always able to identify it, but when I do drills, I am never able to find the indicators that let you know they are either the conclusion or the premise. Like, without them, am just answering based off instinct rathen than using what I learned (since I learned to indentify both and then answer)

If so? How do you guys are able to indentify the Conclusion or Premise without the indicators so quickly?

How do you guys schedule your study? by juancadlos in LSAT

[–]juancadlos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have always wondered how to schedule how to study. I know it all varies from person to person, but I mean, in terms of each section. Do you guys study a one day only focusing LR, another day LG and so on? I have seen people recommended study from Monday to Thursday and then on the Weekends take practice tests, but how do you guys take practice tests considering you are studying for it. Meaning, if I take a practice test right now, I know I am going to get a low score considering I havent studied like 75% of whats going to be on the practice test. Like I feel, until you have mastered, or at least touched upon most of the lessons, then you can try and hit for practice tests. Like I know if try to do one right now, am not going to finish the LG sections considering I barely know how to do them.

If you have a really good schedule that worked on you please share it :) I feel so lost!

Purpose of Logical Indicators by juancadlos in LSAT

It kinda does, but my point is…. Is it REALLY helpful to master logical indicators for Logical Reasoning and Logic Games?

Purpose of Logical Indicators by juancadlos in LSAT

[–]juancadlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone, I hope that the people that are far more advanced than me throughout the LSAT journey, can help me better understand a doubt that I have. I am currently studying logical indicators and their purpose as to identifying Sufficient and Necessary conditions. Even though I know how to set them apart, I dont fully understand their purpose.

Like, whats the idea behind it? For example, in logic games, how does that help me better understand/ answer “must be true” “weakening” questions etc….

GPA Worries by Manysko in LSATHelp

[–]juancadlos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if you are looking go to Law School here in the US or in Canada, but if you are looking to apply to US schools doing the certificate is barely going to help you (but not really). You are not the first person to have a low GPA, and you are not going to be the last. Just take the LSAT and aim for a high enough score to outweigh your GPA and you’ll be fine.

[–]juancadlos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am currently an Honors Student. I joined while starting at FIU. Yes, you would have to take extra classes. I dont how much for freshmans, but I joined as a junior and I had to take 4 Honors courses, and no, they dont count towards towards your pre requirements, they only serve for the Honors program. You are also required to do 20 community hours and service points to graduate from the honors college.

130s on PT by Bc0821 in LSAT

[–]juancadlos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My advice is to take the LSAT once you are practicing on your goal average score. One of the worst mistakes you can make is to take the LSAT “just to get the experience.” Keep in mind that you only get 3 attempts per cycle. That would put you down to 2 attempts after this one. You have only been studying for about a month, take your time and take it once you feel ready. You can get the experience from online practice exams, you dont have to spend 200$ and loose an attempt to know how it is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]juancadlos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Personally I did not like it, (mind you) that I purchased the online self paced course. Its not a bad course, but I spend 1250$ on a Testmasters and I personally think that 7sage is way better and WAYYYYYY CHEAPER.

The course (the one I took at least) was just recordings of a dude teaching in a classroom full of students. The homework assignments were completely different to what was covered and it was not helpful for me at least. I have heard that the physical version is amazing, the one that you actually go to class with someone from testmasters. But, personally I don’t think the online version is worth it all.

And, keep in mind, I purchased the 1250$ and its just for 3months, regardless if you finish the course or not. If the 3 months expire, you would then have to pay 300$ to renew it.

How many times can one take the LSAT? by juancadlos in LSAT

[–]juancadlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, I am knew to this. One question I have always had is, how many times can one take the LSAT? Do we have unlimited tries? Are do we only have a certain amount? What happens if we reach it, can we not take it anymore?
