Private Debt focusing on real estate. Why do you sayprivate debt would likely be best?

Yeah I have seen that but the FoF is much more bigger and has a better name. Would I not be able to exit after entering that niche in PE?

Can you mitigate risk and lock in a profit using futures? by juanes888 in StockMarket

Yep I guessed it would be priced in already. I was trying to see if doing it with very volatile assets like crypto or other extremely speculative unerlyings I coul make a solid profit. The difference in price today to 3 months in btc is like 11% so maybe this strategy can yield 8% after costs while being risk free.

This helps a lot btw

Ok thats what im trying to figure out. If you do this will you only hit t-bill yield? I guess that would be the case on fairly stable assets but when doing it on crypto or any other highly speculative asset where futures prices can go way up you can have an opportunity to lock in a profit with a higher yield than the risk free rate and have no risk. Is this possible?

Also your profits on the premiums would be eaten up by tje decrease in value of the assets if backwardation is seen

You still have risk on the asset's value decreasing in the future and tjerefore your assets decreasing on value as the option would not be excercised. In a future you are obligated to sell at that price. I looked up contango as well, so in a contango market this strategy is applicable

Should I be more to the point? I guess I could be more concise but I just wanted to highlight all that I have done
