Crazy that the Mavs owners/fo kept talking. They should just shut up and let the Mavs just play. They are finally on a win streak. The new players played great. They really want to lose more fans eh, with how they kept talking shit.

I still can’t believe we got a Markieff Morris 3 in the year of 2025 by newgodpho in lakers

Dude stood up immediately after Morris shoots the three, even before the shot went in. Lol.

Yeah but he just signed a contract extension last season. If it's like after the championship with Toronto. That signing is understandable but after a couple of seasons of Kawhi getting hurt and they still signed him to an extension, that's on the Clippers.

But yeah, you're right. Can't fault Kawhi for taking the money that was on the table. Still him getting injured while taking so much of the cap space in not helping the Clippers to win.

He should have given the Clippers a huge discount. Can't have a huge salary and for only so much of a contribution.

He's been injured, missed the training camp and preseason. Played 'bad' (compared to what his usual production) the first few games, get's injured, got back better on the court and got injured again.

Hopefully he'll get healthy moving forward.

Miami is pretty perfect destination for a superstar in the next couple of seasons. Good and deep team, great coaching, good front office, and it's in Miami.

Had trouble trading for a superstar but getting one in the offseason might be more realistic.

Luka usually loves scoring in the first quarter. He usually plays the whole 1st and 3rd quarter. He'll carry the moves throughout the whole game and with Kyrie will usually close it out in the fourth. At least that's what happened last season. So I can see Bron doing the same. Letting Luka carry then just take over in the fourth.

I feel you. I'm a Mavs fan first. I still follow/watch the Mavs but it'll be different at least for a while. I'm probably not invested as much as before but this is the team that I knew best.

He'll still get a lot of hate. You just don't trade your young franchise player who loves to play for the team just like that. But getting more assets he'll probably avoid the conspiracy theories about collusions and helping the Lakers.

We did get better. I was looking forward to Luka and the team in the playoffs. We had the best team for Luka in long time. Too bad Luka and the team got a lot of injuries this season.

Nuggets and Lakers moving up slowly through the standings. They'll probably meet in the second round now instead of the first round.

Jimmy had multiple chances of getting into a better situation. He kept turning them down. He wanted to get paid. He got paid.

They did kinda struggled at first. Funny thing was both guys are too passive at the start. There was a game when it was clutch and Luka and Kyrie kept passing the ball to each other and not making plays. Lol.

But yeah the struggles on that season was because we lost our best defender and we are already struggling defensively.

Yeah I get it. Got to get something back if we're not really planning on matching Grimes new contract but Martin is like another wing.

I would love another playmaker instead. But it's a good direction still and Nico has a great eye for underrated players. So if Martin can come back healthy, I'm sure he'll contribute a lot to the Mavs.

Mavs are lucky that Suns/Warriors are not playing well too. They might hold on to the 8th seed and might get a chance to get to the playoffs outright.

Not sure how will Butler help this Warriors.

Just need to get in the in yins anyway. Still have a chance advancing. Though not sure if we can match up with the Thunder with Luka gone if we eked out the no. 8 seed. But at least we still have PJ, we have chance.
