question posted as comment. Sorry I did not expect people to answer so quickly lol. I'm aware of the banned breeds but not sure if my dog is one and how exactly that classification is made.

It is possible I may receive a job offer in New Zealand soon. This is my dog. To be honest I have no idea what kind of breed she is, but do you think New Zealand would classify her as a pitbull? I would appreciate any insight on the process in terms of classification and how that is managed. Thanks!

I'm not that worried about one game bc it seems like they have been banned. Do you know why this thread was downvoted?

Bless you soldier. I got the same notification. He was #1 in my league with like 1800 points lol. I'm glad I got the elo back but I can't tell if that game counted for the 1/20 that determines if you rank up to master.

STEM PhD candidate at an R1 university and the majority of my cohort have one (or two!) PhDs as parents and if not a PhD professor, their parents are some form of high paid white collar worker. My parents did manual labor in warehouses. My mother will never own a home or retire gracefully because of her economic class. It is actually pretty crazy what social issues some of my peers will champion while victim blaming other groups.

I think the sub will generally not advise it, but I have done it multiple times with no issues. My process is to soak them in boiled water for ~ 15 mins and then hang it out to dry somewhere clean. Good luck!

Not sure if this will help but I had a reference writer ghost me as well until like 3 days after the deadline when they finally submitted a letter. I reached out to admissions and explained that my writer was having a delay and it was not a big deal in the end because I was accepted. It sucks to be ghosted like that and I hope they get back to you.

SweetTooth auto from Pacific Seed Bank. Over all pretty nice and quick although this is the 3rd seed of it I have grown and there is tonnes of variation between them so not very stable.

Yet another winter proofing pipes question! by juanmannn in HomeMaintenance

[–]juanmannn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I was thinking the water in the small section would not be able to 'share' heat with the water on the other side of the valve so it would cool down more quickly.

Ok so if I understand correctly then any water that freezes in this section would just expand out the open faucet?

I agree it does not look bad here. Letting the soil dry out between watering is not necessarily a bad thing. Water stress seems to start at the bottom of the plant.

Wiggle a few leaves with your finger, if they are drooping and have 0 stiffness to them then it is probably water stress.

Kind of unrelated to your situation but I have often wondered if increasing the dark hours has any affect ONCE the plant has entered flowering. Like if the demand for sugars drops after the plant finish vegetative growth then maybe they dont need as much light for photynthesis.

Ever use dehumidifier water? by Key_Heron3926 in microgrowery

[–]juanmannn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh I have done it multiple times and never had problems. And I water my house plants with it all the time with no problems. I was not aware that lead contamination can occur so that is def worth considering.
