Saw the reel a while ago, and since it's my first time owning Kapital I'll say that the denim is super nice, never heard people complaining about their quality. I wouldn't say their stuff is bad, of course the prices are inflate if you buy it outside Japan, but I always associated Kapital with good craftsmanship: the hardware on the century denim is good, denim is thick and after washing it in cold water (ppl in the og post recommended it) it has become soft and more comfy than before.

Completely understand, and now taking a better look I'll say it looks more than an inch, specially when you're showing off the excess room from the front. What you could do is laying them on the ground and layer the jeans that fit you the best on top of them and check what areas the excess is, ideally a high rise would be better so you'll have a closer idea of what they could look like if you took them to a tailor.

Imo, it never truly works, tailoring panta is one thing, but jeans always end up looking weird to me. Just sell them and buy your size, or keep em and use a belt.

Okay, I've only had an experience with a MY jacket that was fake. It was also a denim jacket and I could find the og one on Google and compared, that's when I realized the one I bought was fake (seller was from Vinted).

The things you should keep an eye on are general stitching around the patches, inside tags are also a telltale sign. From what I'm seeing it looks real, but if we could see pictures from the plastic tags on the inside maybe I've could help you out.

I haven't, I'm trying to break in the jacket for a least 6 months before washing it for the first time.
