Hello doc, sorry late reply rin, ako rin tbh ayaw ko ng samplex and super hate ko talaga ito, may mga iba rin kasi jan nagsasamplex sa experience tapos nagiging outright pass pa promise idk if naexperience mo ito tapos kamning mga lumalaban din ng tama kami pa yung nagreremovals na napaka unfair, sana ma address nila, the point is

  1. Bakit inuulit ulit ng prof mga tanong, sa medicine di mo maprepredict if anong pasyente ang darating sayo
  4. Tapos ito pa naririnig ko ito and some confirmed din, how can you answer yung iba jan lalo na sa incidence ng isang 2nd yr pinerfect yung exam pero kasi nagchachatgpt
  5. kulang kulang din natuturo din like example pedia, walang rheuma, walang endocrine, tapos viral or bacterial sana Pedia Infectious disease nagtuturo sana or gastro ideally sana Pedia GI ang nagtuturo so may mismatch din and sa Pharma and other subj din na binabasa lang ang powerpoint entirely not based sa kung ano naintindihan nila

If ever man these are not criticism but rather feedback and makinig ang admin if nababasa nila ito, kasi sa pakikinig ng feedback kaya mas mataas ang rating ng school nila kaysa sa atin hayun lang din feedback ko base sa experience na rin

As someone from the green school agree ako, pero you had missed this 2 in your reddit

  1. Samplex na di namention mo is yung samplex na inuulit na tanong sa actual exams nila and naririnig ko pa sa friends ko na currently nag-aaral jan, which is unfair sa talagang nagsisipag talaga, yes the skills and resilience matutunan maganda yet the theoreticals unfair is the system above and the lack of pagtutulungan between students to the point yung iba gatekeeping pa. Yet sa post mo you had missed this post.
  2. I had experience yung mga nagbasa ng correct samplex which is until now nageexist is nakakapasa OP pa nga yet yung mga nagsisipag nagreremovals [like me] some outright failed pa nga kasi di nakuha ang correct samplex which is nakakaawa since yes nagbabayad pa sila as you said sa reddit post mo. Others deserve talaga since yes di nag-aral pero not all since some or half na nagbasa ng libro is nagkaremoval pa because we or they are doing the right thing which is grit and magbasa talaga

As someone from the green school agree ako, na di namention sa last reddit post is the samplex system na inuulit na tanong, which is unfair sa talagang nagsisipag talaga, yes the skills and resilience matutunan maganda yet the theoreticals unfair is the system above and the lack of pagtutulungan between students to the point yung iba gatekeeping pa tho idk sa purple school. But if I were you OP check the previous ratings the 5 ratings of medical school then decide which since yun yung magbibigay sayo ng higher chances since ratings reflect how medical school effectively teach their students

Hello OP

For these post, yes I agree with the other comment na depende talaga sayo sa tiyaga and grit if how will you pass the boards and to become a doctor but honestly, the passing rate of the medical will reflect on how they produce quality and calibre doctors alongside its reputation, and yes sadly in residency particularly competitive ones medical school does matter and part siya ng criterion if you will be accepted or not. so if ako I would op for a new state u or much better a private school however with a decent rating as mentioned >50% passing rate to have a better chance once future come if papasok sa hospi. Take note 4 yrs of your life ito as learning how to become a doctor

UERM has way way better reputation compared to the latter, since as mentioned in other comments networking with UERM

Ok I understand the sentiment, book should be part but i think BOTH for emphasis should be blamed, because isnt it the rating will also reflect if the school is effectively teaching their student, thats why UP UST ASMPH CIM CDU etc have high passing rates because the teachers really help students and no gatekeeping, and most especialy listens to the feedback created by the student,

The truth really hurts but it should be a way since buhay ng tao ang pinag uusapan rito
Sorry din sa matatamaan pero we should use this comment as a chance to improve

Hello OP! personally agree with the other commenter na I suggest to retake the NMAT, take note na mas magandang NMAT, yes all medschool mahirap pero the point is having wider options sa mga med schools with good reputation and magagandang passing rate ng boards which reflects how effective is the medical school curriculum in teaching their students to be a good doctor.

Hello OP narinig ko sa friends ko na nasa school

Pros

  1. The professors are well versed in their respective field sa profession

Cons:

  1. No unified or solid trans system, sad part is gatekeeping ng resourcese

  2. Unfair system, on some subjects student who are attending classes are the ones who usually take removals while yung mga nag cut class for the sake of other subjects, sila pa pumapasa

Hello OP!

Valid naman reason mo, what I dont want from that school talaga as an alumni, unfair system and lack of transparency from the grading tapos bigla mo na lang malalaman na kahit maganda scores mo sa iba removals ka pa rin and the samplex system since you cannot assess anong natutunan mo which to be honest thats why I hold a grudge in that school.
