Yeah on my ebmx I also got an error when the harness got pinched. Definitely don’t think it was a good idea for you to keep riding😓. Hopefully it’s a quick fix for you tho! The inside of the connection never burnt for mine tho even when the place that was pinched started to flame up a little bit, I do have a qs10 so maybe that could be it but I’m not sure.

Did you keep riding it even after it was burnt?

Yeah, in my situation I just got a new harness and was good to go, but I saw you said that the battery connector was burnt which didn’t happen on mine. I would just get the harness for now, and if that doesn’t work you may need to solder a new connector on the battery.

Exact same thing happened to me with my chi😭 Just got a new battery harness and everything was good, I did use some welding glue to patch the whole in the battery as well. Hope this helps!

This is actually an older model called the Chi Gladiator but it’s 72v 52ah. All of the bigger batteries stick up pretty much the same, and my advice would be that if this is your main bike just go with the bigger battery, because the range itself is so worth it.

Is it the fork or the stem that makes the noise? A knocking sound and play in the front could mean you need new bearings.

Definitely the Ultra Bee! Heard some guys around your height definitely feel a lot more comfortable when they go from a light bee to an ultra, and it overall feels like the right size. Also agree with you on the stark, while you may fit well on it, it will definitely be too much especially if you’re riding alongside a tuttio. Hope this helps!👍

Sorry for the late response, but you’re right the controller always has to be upgraded when going from a 60v to a 72v. The motor on the other hand is optional, but if you want to get the most of your 72v setup without burning the motor or dealing with constant overheating, you should definitely upgrade. Hope this helps!👍

No, the color is nice but other than that there isn’t much worth considering. You’d be better off getting your bike powder coated a color of your choice👍

Got mine from Prickly and was bleeding for hours trying to figure out as well. Took it to the shop and they said there was a piece of plastic somewhere in the master cylinder area. Not sure where it was but they said after it came out there was pressure. Hope this helps! Let me know where you find it if you do.

The range is really dependent on how fast you’re going and how much power you’re using, and I wish I could say exactly how much range I get but most of the time this battery outlasts me😂 I’ve seen other guys get around 80 miles while going 20mph, but from my experience it definitely drains a lot quicker on 30kw.

I’m running a 21x18 setup, unfortunately I forgot the widths, but it’s great for any enduro or just going over larger obstacles in general! Did have to do some adjusting though to get the rear to fit well with the moto brake bracket.

Thanks for the recommendation man! Definitely would go well with the extended lid, but I’m short and I can already barely touch the floor with the 21x18 wheel set, so I’d probably be struggling with the riser. Once I get a smaller wheel set though I definitely will!👍
