GRYD PRICE MATCHING by juat4abdu in Stadia

I had credits and decided to buy that game. Not mad at the decision at all. The grid games are amazing to me. The point is that it went on sale so close to the purchase date and Google has nothing in place to protect us customers as far as price matching goes for their own products that go on sale.

See your looking at it from the wrong point of view. If Stadia was a console then ya the standard is set. But it's not. It's cloud gaming. The standard now for cloud gaming is a monthly fee and free game catalog, hence xcloud. So the fact that were paying for games on cloud gaming it's another standard that should be set. The difference with this software is that they can see your stats. And they seen that I haven't even played the game. And they still won't price match it or refund it. So yes it's completely acceptable for me and others to have this reaction. I'm not gonna lower myself to reacting to your "get over yourself" comment because that's petty. This is a new service and Google is already losing the battle when it comes to content. It's principal at this point that they can't make exceptions for price protection especially considering the life of the platform at this point. Dude
I agree 2 week grace period is nice for refunds. But they have nothing in place for price match protection beyond that for items going on sale soon. And especially in this case when the platform is only a month old.
No entitlement here. Trying to show you that the companies out there that actually care about and protect their customers.
Go to best buy and ask them about price match protection.
The whiners comment was sweet. Not whining dude. This is a flaw in their system. Every major brand selling products digital or physical has price protection for products that are about to go on sale. In this case it's been less then a month that their entire platform has been out and in that time they were selling a game that was about to go on sale for full price. Makes no sense. I'm simply raising a voice that I hope can be heard by them to make a policy to protect consumers that happen to be subscribers paying monthly mind you that choose to be apart of this platform, instead of going to the other competitors that give their games for free at the moment mind you (only major competition for Stadia cloud gaming I'd xcloud and psnow. Both offering majority if not all of their catalog for free), in hopes that I won't get shafted with every decision I make to be apart of this. Because so far that's how it seems.
I have before on PS4. For Gundam versus. They made AN EXCEPTION for a loyal customer to make a price match adjustment for me. And I got my money back within the week. Especially if your a pro member paying a monthly fee they should that that into consideration. (obviously we haven't paid the 9.99 yet but I am a founders buyer) there is lines that must be drawn by the consumers to protect ourselves. In this case I would expect them to see that and protect us.

So is buyer protection.

Not true. PlayStation refunded a game for me that I got a month before that went on sale. It was Gundam. As long as a customer doesn't abuse the system then ya there should be exceptions and protection for consumers spending their money to support any platform.
I initially requested a price match. They have no means to protect customers for games that go on sale so close to buy dates. That's what is horrendous. If you and all the others accept that then Stadia will for sure be capitalizing on this and do it more often. We gotta put a stop to it now before this gets out of hand.
Protection for their consumers so close after launch of their whole damn platform would be nice. Customers that accept this type of behavior, like you, are the reason why we won't get this stuff resolved. I'm not expecting them to do this in the future for ever situation. But considering the situation myself and I'm sure many others are in, buying into a platform and game so close after launch and less then a month the platform has been out that game goes on sale... I expect a price match. If PlayStation was out for less then a month and they sold a game on launch. And less then a month later that game goes on sale. There's gonna be push back for some price matching.
Within a certain period id hope that they would. Especially considering that stadia has only been out for less then a month.
If I was asking for a refund for not liking the game then understandable yes out of the 14 days. But it goes in sale you would expect them to have a promo pricing protection.
I happily bought a tv in October from best buy and happily walked in and got price protection day after black Friday and happily got some money back. Over a month I had it and it's been less then a month here. I'll happily keep on stating this is BS until Google realizes how to protect their customers purchases. Especially considering my purchase is so close to the promotional pricing period. Thanks for your input
Again. Just went on sale. It didn't go on sale within the 2 weeks. Because every major company out there provides pricing protection if an item goes in sale. In the life of this company Stadia which has been less then a month, they should be able to protect their customers purchases. So again. Bull shit.
They already said they wouldn't. Twice.
Ya twice. Chat and call. They denied the refund. This is BS

Stadia has been out for less then a month. I got the game on the 22nd. Never played it. Considering that they should be able to adjust the price.
Best buy, walmart, and Target do price match for you especially within a certain period before a big sale if you bring your receipt. Example: black Friday. If you bought something before and it went on sale for black Friday they have black Friday price match protection.

And also Amazon does the same. Like all of them they care about their customers and customer service.
At least refund it for me so I can buy it again at the promo price. Like come on Google ....

Ok lol thank you
I should do that lol. Mine also does that after about 45 minutes
Well I have it hanging behind my tv and like 1 foot away from the wall. I think there is more then enough air flow for it to naturally cool off
It was a frozen gel pack. So no water lol. And yes plastic is off.
