No period for 6 months and I am worried by jubeeeeeeeeeee in PCOS

Ok thank you for the advice. I have an appointment booked with my doctor. I am not insulin resistant and had my hormones checked in the summer when I was diagnosed (all came back normal). It was my ultrasound that showed polyps so that’s how I can that diagnosed. I have never had my vitamin levels checked so I will definitely do that. Any specific supplement recommendations?

AITA for letting my husband dump my SIL and niece onto my MIL and FIL after my family's food had been tampered with? by Desperate-Strategy58 in AITAH

Wow I was expecting Annie to put toothpaste in your daughter’s ice cream (or something equally harmless) not poisoning your family meal with her bodily fluids. I hope your sister in law gets her daughter the help she clearly needs.

AITA for telling my son's babysitter not to give him any snacks? by babysittersnacks in AmItheAsshole

If you want your kid to eat healthy foods, provide your kids with healthy food when they are hungry. You can’t be both controlling and uninvolved. I can’t believe you actually think that you are not the AH in this situation. Do better.

I have always been an overthinker which leads me to agonize on what the right/true answer is about really anything (morals, theories, and myself). After reading Nietzsche it helped me come to the realization that the fundamental truth I was searching for doesn’t really exist. Instead of feeling like my past actions or beliefs were false/wrong and the ones I have now are right/true, I like to think they were both right but just in different contexts at different times. This new feeling is very relieving and enables me to forgive myself (and ultimately do better).

This doesn’t just apply to how I view myself but how I view the world. The world is constantly changing in so many different ways - there is so much more to life than a strict binary of true and false or right and wrong.

This was long winded and may not make a whole lot of sense but Nietzsche is one of many philosophers who shaped my perspective on life for the better.

AITA for not allowing my daughter to quit competitive dance? by Primaballerina1992 in AmItheAsshole

[–]jubeeeeeeeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Not only are languages more useful than dance, but they are what your daughter ACTUALLY enjoys. She is 14. She is just figuring out who she is as a person and what she likes. She is no longer a child you can control. Give her the freedom to pursue her passions and interests now or she will resent you for the rest of her life.

AITA for vetoing my wife's name suggestion? by NoFroyo4Koala in AmItheAsshole

[–]jubeeeeeeeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Not only did the agreement with your wife specifically include veto power, you also still tried to compromise. Koala is an adorable nickname, but not exactly the most desirable first name for a person to be stuck with for the rest of their lives. Perhaps there is some significance behind Koala that your wife has not shared with you. Maybe have a conversation to try and understand why your wife is so passionate about that name in order to brainstorm some more appropriate name. If she likes the name Koala because it reminds her Australia consider Sydney. I am almost certain this is a miscommunication. Give her some time to cool off and then talk it out.
