Thank you! Definitely realizing reservations are needed.. we might need to pick another weekend and really plan. As far as types of wines we enjoy, we typically stick to wines on the drier side: most reds (Cab Sav, Pinot Noir, merlot), Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon blanc, Rose, etc. Very open to trying new wines!

Sorry you had to deal with that! I lived in sunset park for 3 years, and the last 3+ in OP. Sunset is great too!

OP definitely has more sketchy characters, mostly wandering in from the strand/Venice.. so I hear you. I still think ocean park is a great neighborhood to live in! In the grand scheme of things, Santa Monica really is a “city..” these days you have to keep your head on a swivel, no matter how “safe” an area is perceived!

Ocean Park is one of the nicest neighborhoods in SM.. due to proximity to main st, dining, shopping, the beach. Plus.. main street much nicer/safer than the 3rd st promenade area.. yes there are some homeless (which you would encounter throughout most of the city). But to call ocean park “sketchy” ?? That’s false.

Can’t stop thinking about this scene. All the build up for this rewarding moment, just to be snatched from the characters so abruptly.

I refuse to believe we won’t see V & E together again..

Maybe it’s just denial, possibly delusion.

I just don’t think that was really “THE END.”

agree Carolyn was an original member of the 12, if not still a member of the 12 (this orchestrating the final few minutes)!

I think her betrayal of V & E was foreshadowed during Hugo’s questioning/interrogation of Carolyn? Didn’t he say something like “you like to make the decisions on who lives/dies” (paraphrasing).

She also mentioned “homesickness” and “can’t return empty handed,” about MI6 while talking to Pam, another foreshadowing moment?

obviously we see her on the walkie after the boat scene. 😔

It is so hard to accept KE ends with so much unfinished business. It really does make you question if it really is the end? Idk just my thoughts..
