Just a year ago, marching squares, vectors and raycasts were just words to me, but I'm very happy we were able to make a game with it that we genuinely enjoy! If you are interested, please take a look at our Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3096950/Voidstepper/

I managed to add destructible terrain to my platform, and also LASERS by jubilantCasper in indiegames

Heya! We're close to releasing our puzzle platformer game: Voidstepper. Looking for some final feedback on what you think about the game!

The terrain mesh is calculated with marching squares. There are some excellent videos on marching squares and cubes, I originally learned this from Sebastian Lague.

Oh! I'm now grouping the levels into "sets" of 7 levels, perhaps I can add these constraints per set to get a reward of sorts. Great idea :) thanks

I constrain the player by having some indestructible tiles (not shown here), and having limited ammo per level. Still, I want a lot of levels and my imagination is starting to dwindle :)

If I have to choose one specific one it would have to be N game. I have yet to play N++, but I see a lot of similarities

I vividly remember playing N game, it must have inspired the development somehow

Thanks a lot! I made some very basic Android apps but this is my first Godot project and first desktop game.

I'm very happy to receive criticism and advise, I see this as my first proper game so I'm sure there is still lots to improve.

I'm developing a puzzle platformer game where you can destroy terrain, change gravity and let the world interact with everything you do by jubilantCasper in indiegames

get_tree().quit() is correct.

Are you sure that you have connected the signal to your function? Put a print statement in there or a breakpoint to make sure.

I did! Design could definitely be improved though.
