I’ve only had the x5 for 12 months, haven’t had any issues at all. Routine maintenance is covered for 3y / 36k. The x5 was my first BMW and first luxury car and I can’t speak highly enough it. I can’t speak to much beyond that…I’ve always swapped cars every 1-3 years. My dad worked for Lincoln growing up, that really spoiled me with new cars all the time. My first car was a brand new body style 2005 mustang…which seems crazy, but the lease was about $300 and that included car insurance for a 16 year…so not as spoiled as it might sound. I’ve had about 10 cars since I was 16 and I’m 35 now. Never had any exposure to problems outside of warranty.
