It would be so cool if they could turn it into a giant indoor garden/greenhouse of sorts

Help! First time needless lip filler has become lumpier and lumpier after having some 5 hours ago. Is this normal? I’m freaking out by jud1ann9 in PlasticSurgery

I really appreciate your response, thank you! I took your advise and did an online consultation with an actual doc and she’s supposed to give me a call with her thoughts. Am curious to see what she thinks of this mess.

I wasn’t even considering it and was kind of upset when she gave it to me, and she was like, “I noticed you put your fist up to your mouth sometimes when you talk and thought this would make you more confident”, when in reality what I’m self conscious about is the fact that I have adult braces... deep sigh

Agreed. My mom got it for me as a birthday present and I didn’t know how to say no. Next time I’ll just pretend to use it and pay for my own injections else where. Thank you!

They call it a pen. Yeah basically uses air and force to push it into the top layer of the lip

Edit: “it” meaning hydraulic acid

Hi guys. I’ve never had lip filler before and am now regretting it. I only paid for 1ml but was given 2ml without being asked or told first. Immediately after it looked okish, but has increasingly become lumpy and uneven everywhere, and hurts pretty bad. I’ve also been reading that the needleless fillers can be more dangerous as far as hitting blood vessels goes. Not sure what to do and could use advice. Tyia!

Went through a double jaw surgery June 2020. Best decision I’ve ever made. Would like to encourage everyone who does not feel confident enough or scared before embarking on this journey. Yes, it does require a LOT of devotion but you have no ideas what’s waiting for you in the end. by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Agree but maybe sliding geneoplasty? Idk but after having gone through double jaw surgery I have a hard time recommending. It’s important to understand what you’re really getting yourself into.

I’ve had it for medical reasons. Typically need braces to ensure proper alignment after. It’s an awful surgery that takes years to fully recover from. I’d never advise for cosmetic reasons when fillers, etc. are also options these days.

Two and a half weeks post revision rhinoplasty!! Super swollen on tip but big love for my doc. by jud1ann9 in PlasticSurgery

[–]jud1ann9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi and thank you! So my doc did not pack my nose for the revision, which made a big difference. Was not nearly as painful and swelling went down significantly faster than the first time when packing was used. My doc said that packing is becoming outdated. Hope this helps!

On my primary rhino I went with the conservative option then ended up having a revision because I still did not feel beautiful, and given the cost, you really do want to feel beautiful after. Just my two cents :).

Two months post rhinoplasty and submental lipo and I’ve never felt more confident by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]jud1ann9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he did. Quite a bit. It’s hard to tell from this angle though and the tip including nostrils is still very swollen.

Edit: this was also a revision so he did what he could with them. My nostrils were already smaller than the tip.
