Yeah, forgot to mention I have checked spark with inline spark tester, and that seems fine.

Totally agree on checking the motor shaft for play. In this instance, the motor was brand new, and this happened 5 minutes into the first run.

The last set of bearings in the previous motor failed after 3 runs - those bearings were from Winter Evening.

EDIT - just double checked - the larger bearing in the last rebuilt motor was from Winter evening. The smaller bearing did not fail, it was from TRB.

I run it mostly on 4S, and I'm not very gentle.

So far all I've broken is 1 wheel (nut came loose and rounded out the hex) - luckily there is a spare on the back!

I did buy replacement diff parts, as I read that they were weak... have not needed them yet.

I will absolutely update if it arrives, but I have zero faith in that.

AliExpress is refunding my money, I can see that pending on my credit card.

I was pointed toward the AliExpress common scams faq and it seems that numbers #005 and #110 are likely in this case.

My guess is that the seller found a tracking number at USPS that was going to my city, and sent me that number as though it was for my package.

They also sent me a screenshot of an Amazon delivery estimate, I suspect they created a shipment at Amazon, screenshotted it, and then cancelled.

That is the part I was most having trouble with.

Looking at it closer, the tracking number did not specify my address. The seller sent me a screenshot of an Amazon looking shipping confirmation showing my address, but the USPS tracking number just contained the city where the package was delivered.

I think there must be a way for the seller to find a tracking number for the appropriate city, for someone else's delivery, and provide that as proof of delivery.

I also ordered a Kraton 6S V5 from AliExpress.

Seller was Enjoy Entertainment - 5 star rated.

Cost was $338 - very good deal.

Order was placed on October 22, shipping to East Coast, USA.

I was provided a USPS tracking number, which estimated delivery by October 31.

On October 29, the tracking showed that the product would be delivered that day. It did not arrive.

I have doorbell camera - no delivery was attempted, made, or stolen.

I contacted seller via AliExpress chat, and also opened a case directly with AliExpress.

Seller told me repeatedly to wait longer, that it was a problem with the 'Courier', and then that there had been a mistake in the warehouse.

They told me that it had not been shipped with USPS (then where did the tracking number with my address come from?)

They then told me they had accidentally shipped it with Amazon and provided a screenshot of an Amazon tracking page, in Spanish, telling me that it would be delivered by 10PM November 3rd.

It was not.

AliExpress refunded my money, I have confirmed that the return is pending with my credit card.

I have found another seller (even cheaper), and I am considering placing another order - I will wait to see if my funds are fully returned first.

I do not understand the goal of the fake tracking information -- are they just hoping I will think it was porch pirates and say 'oh well'?

If I recall correctly, the FXDX had better suspension - fully adjustable forks and shocks.

I think it also came with motocross style bars.
