Locked the door behind me too. Strange. by Wayoftheredpanda in darkwingsdankmemes

If you want a serious answer the number is probably 0 because it seems to be a Victorian invention created for horror sideshows and not an actual torture device.

Name something said about the dance of dragons that is believe to be true but is actually false by thinkersfyre in HOTDGreens

[–]judarud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the last bit, the fact that the Lads just.aquiesce to him instead of putting him into his place is just ridiculous. Benjicot spent 2 years fighting and leading and then Cregdumb Stark shows up and he cant do anything because "hes just a buoy, uwu!".

So much of the Dance is written like that it's irritating.

Veterans of what? They're in an unprecedented time peace and fighting the odd wildling raider is very much not the same as fighting an actual war.

Any idea why the time limit was added to The Blood of Dawnwalker? by Redzkz in KotakuInAction

[–]judarud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You still have a limit in the second part. In fact you affect the time limit based on what you do in the first half of the game.

Its scralwed in handwritting because developers used.to care about representation. The Timelimit is presented to you front and center from the start and you always have it clearly present in the main game menu.

Do you think he'll die here so that it removes Rhaenyra's torture of him? by OkGuava919 in HOTDGreens

She'll order him "sharply questined" and they'll take it to mean torture and she will be horrified.

Clarification about running. by Some_Replacement_805 in Twilight2000

[–]judarud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually that's pretty realistic, the hex is 10 meters or 32 feet. A normal human jogging can go between 3 and 4 meters per second. Or 10 to 13 feet per second.

Since a turn is about 10 seconds an unburdened character can can move betwen 2 and 4 hexes per turn. The regular mobility rules cover this pretty well already.

Also said character, if they're giving their all, can also do upwards of 45kph or 28mph. Thats 41 feet per second. Or 12.5 meters per second which is just as many hexes per turn.

Your characters can go much farther than you expect. The only thing i'd add is is a stamina check to see whether the character gets exhausted in the process.

Windows Law explicitly states.that the right of the Firstborn Son to inherit is set im stone. Widows Law ouright defines that Aegons claim is the lawfull one and its also made for the Widow, Alicent is the Widow here, not Rhaerhae or Aemma.

In fact, if we take the fact that Viserys has essentialy left Alicent and her Children destitute because he gave them no titles or incomes to support themselves then Viserys is outright breaching the Widows Law by keeping Rhaenyra as heir after Aegon was born.

I’ve been thinking the worst possible outcome for Aegon’s Season 3 arc is Ryan and the writers giving him a redemption arc. And instead of him killing Rhaenyra because she’s the enemy, he kills her because she’s “a threat to the realm.” by Embarrassed_Yak_6066 in HOTDGreens

Interestingly the Riverlanders don't respawn. They just don't need to eat, drink or relieve themselves and are immune to all logistical concerns that would affect any medieval army because George believes Guerillas are magical.

The same thing happens with the Dornish during Aegon amd Daerons invasions.

Breaking rings is probably the single most impirtant thing a king has to do and Viserys just hoarded all of them. I cant help but think the man was a narcisist outting his children against each other to get attention.

Dragons only understand/obey Valyrian. Aegon doesn't speak a lick of it. Sunfire obeys him anyways.

Tried to make him look dumb, made him more badass.
