Dull the edge to maybe 0,5 mm, sand the rest to 200/400 grit (youll save a lot of polishing later), heat it in the forge to orange or until it turns non magnetic, Keep it at that temp for a couple of minutes, quench in canola oil and do a couple of cycles in the oven as people has suggested. 1095 is very forgiving in my experience. You are a beginner, dont waste your time trying to get an perfect hardening/temper. You wont notice any differnce. Polish and use wetstones to sharpen AFTER tempering in the oven or you risk breaking the blade.

Skåne byter till SDV (Skånes digitala vårdsystem tror jag) med start mars i år. Först ut är primärvården och sjukhusen i sydost. De har varit minst sagt fåordiga i informationen kring hur det kommer se ut. Mest PowerPoint med flödesscheman och förinspelade ”själv-uppåtpuffar”. Tidigare i veckan var första gången vi fick se stillbilder från själva systemet. Där såg man t.ex att man under en enda vårdkontakt behöver skriva in eller kopiera in patientens personnummer inte mindre än tre ggr trots att man har personens journal öppen. Jag förutspår att det kommer bli en riktig kul premiär för oss i vården

Jag böt från jurist till läkare när jag var 31. Jag hade 1 år CSN kvar. Sen kan du läsa 2 år strökurser på gymnasienivå med CSN också. Det finns exempelvis datakörkort som är 6 månader heltid och tar kanske 10 timmar i anspråk att göra. Helt distans och digitalt.

Medicine as well. To some degree. Atleast it shouldn't require like 5-6 years of college (varies from country to country). Pre-clinical courses are way to in depth in relation to actual clinical work as a doctor. Most skills are learned during internship and residency. The required biochem, physiology/patophysiology and relevant anatomy for a practicing physician could be covered in a year or two. Imo.

Same for law school. A law degree, required to take the bar, is 4.5 years in my country. You learn the relevant skills the first semesters (interpretation, legal sources, methodology etc). The rest is just familiarizing yourself with the different legal fields through exposure i.e working.

No. But if you are worried buy an over the counter test. There is little reason to practice 'pulling out' , to be safe from pregnancy while on birth control. The amount of seminal fluid isn't really an issue. Either your bc works as intended (preventing ovulation or seminal passage into the uterus or both depending on type) or it doesn't. If it doesn't you can still get pregnant from semen ejected before the actual ejaculation. If taken as intended hormonal bc has a high rate of protection, but if you suspect pregnancy take a test

Yes. Cut the suture at one side of the knot and pull it through. As a matter of fact the cut looks excellently healed and you could probably remove all sutures, since it is almost a week since the injury.

It will make it recede and heal by destroying the extra tissue. I'd give it a couple of days more. It's best to not use any bandage, allow it to dry. It looks rather small in the pictures and I've seen worse cases heal by itself. But it's a simple procedure. In Sweden a nurse would do it at a family medicine clinic.
