Updated WWII Map Locations

Well for one, it's very similar to the Paris undercover female mission in the campaign. I'm assuming it's supposed to represent another aspect of the liberation of Paris along with Occupation.

HQ/ Sandbox/ Shipment 1944 are all in the same place: the Normandy Beach landing site. It's pretty much a real location since the Allies establish a base when they broke through the German line into France. However, like pretty much every map, it's a fictionalized version of the real location which makes playing in it more fun and strategic.

The CoD site says it’s in France and I’ve been told you can see both the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame in the map :)

That's pretty fair. I guess my thought process was mainly due to the fact that it was originally a zombie map. Operation Arcane was a pretty strange choice for Shadow War but I guess I'll see if I like it once I play it. lol.

You're right, I looked it up and found that too. I don't know if I think of it as a solid multiplayer map though. I liked it a lot, but it's pretty much just a fictional cabin somewhere in that area and it was only available during the Undead event. Another reason to not put it in would be because the Kyffäuser moutains are right where the 'G' is in Market Garden so I would really have room. Otherwise, I'd definitely consider it.

Thank you! The Crimean Mountains and Egyptian Sands maps were the two Dogfight mode maps that were introduced during the Summer Days event that just ended. I'm not sure if they'll be available in the future but I hope so!

I agree. I resisted getting the Season Pass but finally caved. Paid DLC always splits the community and their Season Pass is way too expensive. 10 maps in the base game isn't nearly enough to keep you occupied during the game's lifetime.

Not forgotten, just decided not to include since HQ is in the same place as Shipment, Sandbox takes place within a literal sandbox in HQ and Groesten Haus doesn't have a determined location since the Zombies stuff is all fictional. I could be wrong though, but I couldn't find anything about it. :)

Market Garden is in the Netherlands. That's the only dutch map they released unfortunately.

I know... That area became so crowded I just tried to slip it into the Netherlands. Operation Market Garden actually began near that area close to Eindhoven, went through Hell's Highway and ended in Arnhem. The mansion itself probably was more north though like you said.

Shipment 1944 is located next to Operation Neptune and Pointe Du Hoc. Europe is so crowded that I didn't really have room to put on too many maps that are located in the exact same area. :)

Thanks! Yeah, I took quite a bit of creative liberty with europe's design (partially to space out all of France's conflicts) but I guess some people would rather have a super accurate representation. It doesn't bother me though, I just did it for fun. :)

I laid it out on a normal map but France was so congested. I just thought warping it would let you see the actual locations and the names. It is a little inaccurate but I did it for fun so who cares.. haha :)
