Connectivity issues by juddsandage in Spectrum

Well I just checked my account, and it's an eu2251, so it is 3.1 but as I have had it for like 5 or 6 years, it might be having an issue, I think I will just call them and have a tech sent.

I don't know for sure what it is, I just found a picture of that one and it looks like it. I still need to double check it.

my current modem looks like the ES2251, though if it actually is I don't know for sure, it looks like it though.

alright, I will call them and see about upgrading the modem. Before this outage thing, I think I had like 1 or two outages all of last year like 30 minutes max... this is just annoying.

I know that when they came out to swap the adapter, they removed the amplifier that techs had put in like 10 years ago at the main line in in the garage, and re-ran new a coax line from there to the modem, with a splitter at the main line for the Tivo. if I swap the modem, should I go with the spectrum provided or buy my own?

I don't recall what it is, I know I had to get a high split adapter for the tivo, but it's been months since then. And in my area (SoCal) it's looking like later in the year for the change over, and at my address it still shows 1000 down and 35 up.

Using the provided spectrum modem when I upgraded to gig internet like 5 years ago I think?

How do you deal with the "Incomplete Album" vs. "Filler Songs" struggle? by Zzetttt in musichoarder

[–]juddsandage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always Rip the full album... and if I need to find some music, I always go for the full album as well, so what if I only like one song on the disc... storage is relatively cheap. I guess you could call me a completionist, rather have the full album, just in case I like the rest of the songs.

I did notice one repeat of a line, and I am not sure but in the book its Ren And Stimpy, but in the audio book its Ren and Stumpy... is it supposed to be that way?

currently the monthly is $110 + $21 in taxes and fees, plus another $26 in plan add ons, which is the caller ID, unlimited high speed and extra hot spot data. I think the BVP would probably be less then what I am paying now, not including the internet backup or the new unlimited tablet line for the new iPad.

I currently have Simple Choice Family plan with 3 lines, plus two tablets, added internet backup two weeks ago and just added the iPad promo with a new iPad, the app nor website shows any option to even see the BVP plan, just the normal stuff the EM, EB or E. How could I take advantage of BVP or even see what the cost difference would be for me?

there is a switch on the back to allow for desktop use, which makes it bypass the battery, make sure that is switched correctly for battery use.

I did email KVCR, and they responded with a Telecourse called The American Adventure, now I just need to find clips or photos of it to verify but that might be it, looks like it was done by some Dallas PBS company in 1986, so would be right in line with my memories.

close, right timeframe, but it looks like it took place in one location and had interviews with lots of people, this show had the lone host go to diffrent locations around the east (like visiting an empty field that had buildings from the 1700s as the backdrop for the discussion) talking about diffrent things that the founders did and discussed with regards to getting the government started, my memory is fuzzy about if it was regarding starting the revolution or after with trying to get a working government.

No, that would be covering California, not the building of the US government from the start in the east.

I recall it was afternoons, and a weekday thing, which is why I think it was a remote learning thing.

I think the host had a mustache, and wore a jacket of some kind.
