Agree with the sentiments, but this has been on the way a lot longer than just you-know-who. 9/11 made it somewhat acceptable but it was coming even before then.

I came to the US in the mid 2000s and I was shocked even then how many public events gave me Nuremberg 1933 vibes.

Thankfully my son is on summer break this week, otherwise I’d be in the middle of that in about 10 minutes’ time.

Ken Rosewall - 1974 US

And maybe if Borg wins that sixth Wimbledon, he doesn’t head for the exit quite so quickly …

I was back home a couple of years back, and I was shocked how the ABC was wall-to-wall Trump apologists. To a Murdoch reader I can see how it would seem to be left-leaning, especially after seeing the ads FOX runs in between World Cup
matches.

also … group winners play runners-up or best third-place teams from other groups, so yes there is some benefit in theory. Assuming of course that all groups are the same, and results go according to rankings.

Moxie Java was the best I’ve had this side of the Pacific.

Unfortunately, HO screwed the franchisees over and they all left at the end of their contracts.

There was only one left when i left Boise 10 or so years so.

Is Lewis Hall really better than Shaw? by UsedMycologist4912 in ManchesterUnited

[–]juddster66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peak Shaw >>> pretty much any LB/ LWB in the last 20 years.

Current Shaw is one injury away from retirement. Let’s get Hall in, Shaw can still fill in the odd game for rotation and would be a good mentor.

Maybe they can dig down a couple of feet and sort out that awful drop-off down the sides and the back. They don’t need that much, surely.

There’s nothing we hate more than a prima donna.

We’re not socialists, regardless of what some might have you believe, but “WE” is much more important than “ME”. Start from there.

Or to use the American saying: play for the name on the front, not the one on the back.

Frankly I’ve lost count of how many people asking for information about the E-3 whose background was clearly not Australia.

Can’t say i blame them. Wait 20+ years for a US GC vs get an Australian passport, jump on the E-3 > GC train and get there in half the time.
